President Donald Trump’s eldest son will give private testimony in front of the Senate Intelligence Committee in mid-June, as a result of a deal revealed on Tuesday.

Donald Trump Jr. will answer questions limited to five or six topics for up to four hours, reported Politico.

Committee chair Richard Burr, the senior Republican senator from North Carolina, created tension with Trump’s allies after issuing a subpoena for the president’s son’s testimony, reported The New York Times. (RELATED: Montana’s Democratic Gov Steve Bullock Announces 2020 Run)

Trump Jr. had already volunteered to show up for interviews but failed to appear twice, Burr told other Republican senators last week according to The NYT.

Now Burr is accused of caving to Democrats who are trying to weaken the White House’s position.

He’s in deep with Warner. They both are probably tied into FISAgate and spying on Trump. They at least knew about it and approved of it, so they are trying to get something on Trump Jr so they can try and make a deal about not exposing them.

“He’d better choose his words very carefully.”

It will be in private and can wind up he will not be under oath.

Repeat Hildabeast’s mantra: “I don’t recall”. Rinse and repeat and let them pound sand.

“What difference does it make?”

_______________

“What difference, at this point, does it make?”

She should have to pay dearly for that remark some day!

So, *what* is the ‘penalty’ for showing up & immediately excusing yourself (”Hey, I was subpoenaed, I showed up...that’s all the law mandates.”).

Nice one. Did you come up with this on your own?

Why yes, yes of course.

It is the distillation of my thoughts on the subject and proper response that should be given.

There is of course a rather large volume of preparation, including charts, graphs, contacts to screen prior public announcements of VIP's in the past, both written and stated over the various air waves, and their respective affects on the intended audiences.

If you wish, I can arrange for the preparatory volumes, glossies, and written texts regarding each, to be emailed to your location prior to engaging the post button, to allow your perusal and of course, approval, prior to posting.

Back in 2016 Burr announced that his current term would be his last.
“U.S. Sen. Richard Burr won’t run for another term – or for any elected office – after this year’s election, he told North Carolina Republican convention delegates Wednesday.

Burr, the state’s senior Republican senator, is seeking his third term in this year’s election, facing a challenge from former state Rep. Deborah Ross, a Democrat. If he wins in November, he said he’ll serve the six-year term and then retire from politics in 2022.

“It’s real simple: I’m beginning to get old,” Burr, 60, told reporters after the delegation’s breakfast at a suburban Cleveland hotel. “I still look forward to getting back into the private sector before retirement even comes into the picture. I never envisioned retiring out of the Congress.”

Burr said that after serving in Congress since 1995 – he spent 10 years in the U.S. House before running for Senate – it will be time for a new generation of leaders to take over. Asked why he’s announcing his plans in the midst of a heated re-election campaign, Burr cited his wife, Brooke.”

So he isn’t running? That’d be good.

I think Mr. Burr is due for a primary challenge. When is he up for reelection?

“I am reviewing Special Counsel Mueller’s report carefully. Furthermore, I look forward to presenting the American people with an accounting of the facts the Committee has uncovered as we conclude our own investigation. It is my hope to release the first of our final reports in the coming weeks.”

I agree. People forget or may not be aware of the fact Don Jr is VERY much like his Dad. They both have said so publicly many times over the years.

Don Jr will destroy them I my expectations to the point the RATs will be the ones to start walking out.

Well, then his chosen successor whom he endorses should be primaried.

He’s a powerful speaker, and he doesn’t need his father’s devices to drive home his message. For his father, the New York accent, the occasional curses, the poem about the woman and the snake, etc., and the unbelievably refreshing insults are his persona. For Don Jr. that all would sound forced and artificial, so he simply says what he says in educated, but not stuffy, American English.
