Clapper: “We Don’t Need Another Investigation Of Investigators"

James Clapper, in an interview with John Berman on CNN, was asked about the attorney general appointment of U.S. Attorney John Durham for the job to investigate how the “FBI Russia Investigation started”.

“There is a substantial investigation, which as I understand it, is nearing completion, being conducted by the Justice Department Inspector General,” Clapper said. “I’d wait for the outcome of that to determine if there needs to be more investigations.”

“McCain knew his part, and so on.”

Oh, right. The McCain connection had totally slipped my mind. I wonder if they’ll expose his treasonous acts, or try to be nice to a dead guy’s memory and say nothing.

Perhaps the one question I ask myself on a daily basis about the destruction of western civ - either here or abroad - is "what's the benefit"? The first and most obvious answer is that anyone who owns real estate has experienced a transformative wealth effect. Whether London, Paris, LA, SF, and other global hot spots, middle-class professionals (financially) experience lifestyles only previously enjoyed by the elite.

But when does the piper get paid? How long can economically advanced societies continue to absorb sub-optimal defects? And this is where I think science may actually come to the rescue. If you check some of my posts, I comment now and then on the progress being made in genetic science. With applied gene therapies, they may be a real chance to raise collective IQ levels.

Now, imagine for a moment if the base line among certain intellectually "disadvantaged" groups could be raised by just one standard deviation. In one fell swoop, dangerous religious dogma would cease to pose a threat and rationality became more predominant. So political appeals for financial support and wealth transference; suddenly, everyone would be equally able to function and operate independently.

To answer my own question above, when I'm feeling generous & optimistic, I sometimes wonder if that's ultimate hope. So, rather than a nefarious power & control game, there's really this sublime expectation that society will eventually transcend its tribal roots and gain new levels of understanding and cooperation. I know for certain that various proglibs are definitely down with this program. If you feel this way, then Trump definitely represents a retro-grade threat to peace & harmony.

I say, it doesn't actually matter who wins, we'll all gravitate to a universal mean anyways. So, the prosecution of the conspirators is really about principle and the rule of law. I'd rather have patriots in control of the (free market) convergence process, rather than social engineers forcing it on everyone.

I didn’t say we have to hang them all now. Have due process, a trial and all that, and then hang them.

By the rules as set by the dems, Clapper just committed obstruction of justice by questioning the need for an investigation!

Muahahaha!

“I’d wait for the outcome of that to determine if there needs to be more investigations.”

You aren't in charge any longer so your opinion on how things should be done is just hot air.

Good. We don’t want to be like the liberals, finding people guilty without being charged, tried and then found guilty based on the evidence.

That’s the way intelligence works. It doesn’t do any good to announce what you are doing so it can disappear. It’s a basic thing. Remember when UNSCOM told everyone they were going “tomorrow” to look for a weapons storage location and when they arrived there was nothing there but dirt? Happened many times. Same thing.

When it became apparent that Hilary’s server was going to be flagged the emails disappeared, and the systems were bleached and her BlackBerrys or mobile devices were hammered into submission by a staff member to hide any leaked info there, literally. There’s no way she would have done that without being told she was about to get hit with an I.T. swat team. She had lots of personal info on that she wouldn’t want to lose. But she also didn’t want to go to jail for 20 years. Loose lips sink ship.

The initial criminal target should be Loretta Lynch. The FBI reports to the AG. The secondary target should be Valarie Jarrett. The rest of the federal government reported to her.

But the AG doesn’t have to act on any referral or even acknowledge it.

I've read different accounts of whom the FBI director directly reports too at DOJ. I've read the director reports to either #2 or #3 at DOJ. Seesion's had FBI reporting to #2 which would have been RR.

Loretta Lynch never signed the Carter Page FISA request or the first renewal. Comey and DAG Yates signed off on both of those. Lynch claimed in congressional testimony she had no recollection of the Cart Page FISA requests. Either Lynch is lying or Yates decided to shield her after the tarmac incident.

As do I. Nothing happens without The Donald. He pushes the buttons. That other "guy" is his support, information, and messaging system.
