"Barr has assigned the top federal prosecutor in Connecticut"

A US Attorney like that has a big staff of a few hundred Assistant U.S. Attorneys (Federal Prosecutors) at their disposal. He or she can unleash a pack of them, should the situation warrant.

In addition to John H. Durham in Connecticut and John Huber in Utah being assigned by the AG, Jessie K. Liu in D.C. was also referred Andrew McCabe's charges by the DoJ IG.

So three prosecutorial wolf packs might be hunting the same herd. There might also be other US Attorneys involved, who have not been (and should not have been) announced. Prosecutors, once assigned, need convictions to advance their professional ambitions.

Hate to put a damper on your enthusiasm, but, I live here and I have another perspective on that. This is like containing Ebola by cutting down the jungle and maybe that is not the right strategy. Perhaps you should contain it - just put a beautiful Trumpian wall around it about 50 miles out from the Washington Monument and shoot anyone who tries to leave. Don't let in anything and let them drown in their swill. If the containment starts to fail take off and nuke it from space. It's the only way to be sure. I realize that I am here and I might be sacrificed, but it's for the greater good. Really.

Durham worked on the Weissmann/Mueller corruption in the Whitey Bulger and associated cases if I am reading his timeline right.

He would know all the Organized Crime families and their Democrat toadies in the Boston area.

The same for Connecticut/Rhode Island (Raymond Patriarcha - one of the last of the big time Mafia killer bosses). Lots of Dems feared being exposed for ties to Pat.

I pray that he is as good as his career indicates. We need a honest, straight shooter to clean out the cesspool that is Deep State, including the FBI, CIA, State Dept., Obama White House, Holder-Lynch whorehouse, and even the media.
