While traveling from NYC to DC, AOC’s limosine had a flat tire. Somewhere in rural Virginia, the driver pulled off the road along the fences of a large EMU farm. AOC got out of the car, walked over and stood in the shade by the fence playing with her phone. The EMU farmer sauntered over to see if he could be of help and was excited when he recognized the freshman Congresswoman.
The Farmer asked if he could take a picture and AOC agreed and posed by the fence. Of course several EMU’s walked over to see what was happening and 6 or 7 photobombed Ms. Cortez.
The Farmer quickly ran up to his farmhouse and printed out a copy of the picture. Hurring back just as the limosine was being lowered off the jack, he asked AOC if she would sign the photo.
“Sure,” the Congresswoman replied. She stared at the picture for a moment before turning it over and inscribing: “Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, 3rd from Left.”
“Remember the entire city of Washington went on a three-year witch hunt based on a joke Donald Trump told.”
Mega-boom!
Bottom line is, if the Left were to pass any sort of Green New Deal-like legislation, they'd surely string us along. There would be a coordinated effort in the media and among all their "scientists."
"Remedial efforts are working," they'd tell us. "...But it's still gonna take some time...we might need to raise some additional carbon taxes...the oceans have stopped rising, but it's still precarious! We'll need to re-distribute a little more income to our buddies in the Third World..."
And mad at her BF for putting dirty clothes in the washer.

She’s only backtracking because of the fallout from the comments she has seen others make.
I never believe these people who speak first then backtrack.
I think AOC is a performance art comedienne. That is, everything about her is a joke, especially her “ideas”, which are quite funny if you think about it.
So what she needs is a laugh track. Every time she speaks, those around her should start laughing. If she gives a speech, it should have a laugh track edited in as well.
Of course, if she is seriously nuts, laughing at her will make her violent and lash out. Which would be even funnier.
What about all the teachers and little kids who went to the Capital to ask congress to pass that new green deal. They were carrying signs saying they were going to die if it wasn’t passed. Did they know she was joking?
This is the 2nd story she’s put out to support her stupidity.
No...she wasn’t joking. It was evident at the time she made the remark.
She’s trying to walk it back now because the world sees her for what she truly is....a blithering idiot.

AOC making fun is other people’s intelligence and education is very funny in an ironic sort of way. So, she actually does have some great humor to share with America. Unfortunately for her, the humor is never intentional. Her claim that it was intended as humor is a big LIE that everyone sees through.
And she cannot keep her big horse mouth closed long enough to let people forget just how stupid she really is. Her and Biden are a pair.
As far as the end-of-the-world claims go, the left keeps making them and never admitting their error when they don’t happen. That’s the real Inconvenient Truth.
Coincidentally, a little over 12 years have passed since Al Gore’s propaganda piece got its heavy Hollywood release. I guess even if the left has not learned that their manmade global warming hoax is false, at least they are realizing they should not make predictions based on it that are near enough in the future to be held accountable when they do not materialize.
This way they can rely on the “sucker born every minute” principle to keep replenishing the suckers who’ve already been burned by their global warming Ponzi scheme.
Really not so much that she was joking by it, as that she became a joke by it.
