RIP, Doris. You were a true peach of a woman. The world would be a far better place if we had more people such as you.

I have to say, I always enjoyed her movies. I had a great uncle, a WWII Navy vet, who enjoyed her music. Farewell to a good one.

RIP Doris Day.

Bob Hope called her Jut-Butt, and said he knew her before she was a virgin.

I remember reruns of her TV show on at about 5:00pm on Global TV up in my locale back in the mid to late 1970s.

TMZ has up the CHarles Manson connection. Had no idea that her son and Candance Bergen may have been the target in the Tate Murder.

Over the weekend I watched the 1955 version of “The Man Who Knew Too Much” with Doris Day and Jimmy Stewart. In this movie, she made the song “Que Sera, Sera” a hit.

She wasn’t a great actress, but she was good, especially with a great director, directing. But she could sing and dance as well. My point is, she was from the era in Hollywood when you actually had to have talent to be in the movies.
