now you use the qualifier INDEPENDENT well what is it there was no palestine or there was and the romans took them over. Can’t have it both ways.

You do know the difference between a “state” and a “nation”, don’t you???
Tennessee is a “state”, not a “nation”...
United States of America is a “nation”, not a “state”...
And, as I said once before, an “area” is known as “Palestine”, just as an “area” in known as “Appalachia”.
Neither is known as a state or country or nation...
I don’t understand what your problem is with seeing this...
