Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) is slamming Sen. Richard Burr (R-NC), the GOP chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, for contradicting direct orders from Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell on the Russia investigation and issuing a subpoena of Donald Trump, Jr., despite McConnell’s statement that the case is closed.
Apparently the Republican chair of the Senate Intel Committee didn’t get the memo from the Majority Leader that this case was closed...
Burr, as Breitbart News and other outlets reported late Wednesday, has issued a subpoena of Trump, Jr., which the president’s eldest son is electing to rebuff despite Trump, Jr.’s history of open cooperation on the Russia investigation. Trump, Jr., has been repeatedly cleared, as has the president himself.

This is the “republicans” going after Trump’s family. They are desperate to get at Trump. And that two faced POS little marko rubbio is the slimiest of all. For congress critters, there’s no life like low life.
Burr is doing what he always does, the bidding of Mark Warner.
Micro Rubio isn’t even the worst NeverTrumper on the committee, Sasse is on there too.
I don’t always agree with Sen. Rand Paul, but I like the way he’s direct when he expresses how he feels. Burr’s a disgrace.
Rand Paul is not perfect. But he’s a good guy. Pence/Paul in 2024. (You heard it here first.)

I love that Mueller testimony is going to blow up in the face of Nadler. How is he going to explain not issuing a subpoena and holding Mueller in contempt.
Burr, IIRC, has an Iran lobby connection.
burr is yet another “leader” who proves him self to be an asshat. What a loser. Hopefully, Justice will find this nitwit.
He should have been invited to appear with the purpose clearly laid out. The fact that a subpoena was issued indicates something more is afoot. I suspect this is Warner’s doing. He is very sinister and not to be trusted at all. He has a surprise up his sleeve.
And Rubio’s in the mix with them....
