Barr jokes about contempt vote against him at farewell ceremony for Rod Rosenstein

Rod Rosenstein was "one of the Justice Department's most important leaders in its history," said former attorney general Jeff Sessions Thursday at a farewell ceremony for the deputy attorney general.

On Thursday, Rosenstein was praised by Sessions, Attorney General William Barr, FBI Director Chris Wray, and other officials during a ceremony in the Justice Department's ornate Great Hall.

Barr was deputy attorney general when Rosenstein first arrived at the Justice Department in 1990.

"In those days, the deputy job was a lot different. But I'll tell you now, the attorney general job is a lot different also. This must be a record, of an attorney general being proposed for contempt within 100 days of taking office," Barr said with a smile.

Reviewing Rosenstein's record, Barr said, "As a law student at Harvard, Rod interned in the US Attorney's office in the district of Massachusetts, and the acting US Attorney in that office at the time was none other than Bob Mueller. Bob went on to be assistant attorney general for the Criminal Division where Rod was first assigned as an honors program lawyer. Little did we know that we'd be getting the old band back together again."

I'm standing by my theory that Rosenstein will somehow wind up a "good guy" once the indictments start rolling out.

You may be right. Rosenbstein is a nobody, even given his position and what he did with it. If he’s smart, he’ll know that taking down Comey, Brennan, Clapper, and perhaps The Big One is far more valuable to prosecutors.

We already know Chris Wray will do everything in his power to protect the corruption in the FBI. Session was a coward. And now we have Barr saying Rosenstein is a great guy after trying to wear a wire to entrap the president and signing a FISA warrant to illegally spy on the President’s Campaign.

Don’t forget Rosenstein allow Mueller to expand his mandate and keep the collusion delusion investigation going well past the 2018 election. He allow the bias lawyers on Mueller’s team. He was part of the coup by impeachment team.

There is nothing good about this story. Barr is an enemy of the people until proven differently. I will change my mind when I see some indictments. Comey or Hillary has no fear of one.

I get this is a farewell ceremony. And as such the usual crapola is said about the retiree.

And while I am impressed that the Rats HATE Barr with a virulent passion concerning the Mueller Report, I too want to see more action on Barr’s part.

Barr would have a good idea whats coming down the pike, so if Rosenstein was about to be charged or something, I doubt he would stand up praising him. Still, wasn’t Rosey one of the 4 signers of the FISA warrants? I’d still like to hear that explained.

Stand up a national Federally deputized volunteer civilian militia to assist in enforcing the ban .

Rosenweasel was up to his eyeballs in it when he was signing FISA warrants and conspiring with Comey and Mueller to get a special counsel. Hopefully this traitor is prosecuted. If he informs on his vermin fellow travelers, perhaps he’ll be Arkancided for his just deserts.
