I used to follow it religiously from a kid in the late seventies up until just the very early two thousands and then around 2003 I just got tired of it. Haven’t regularly paid attention to it since.

With today's humongous flat-screen TVs with surround sound and subwoofer, these kinds of events have never been more enjoyable to watch. I hope to be picking up a 55-60" flatscreen very soon.

The rules today suck. It just isn’t of interest. Toyota Camrys? Ford and Chevy barely making cars anymore? Restrictor plates(hurl!). Big screens or not, I remember vastly more interesting times.
