Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s reelection campaign team decided to market on the senator’s nickname and make it into a t-shirt. Last year, Don Blankenship gave McConnell the nickname “Cocaine Mitch” during his ill-fated bid for a West Virginia Senate seat. Blankenship gave him the nickname in relation to a reported drug bust tied to his father-in-law’s company.

He’s doing great on judges and nominees, now that he has a more grown up bunch to work with, so I have no issue with him.

The Turtle should crawl back into his shell permanently and give someone else the job. In spite of occasional signs that there IS a backbone somewhere in there, I don’t trust that he has our President’s back at ALL when push comes to shove. He should join Paul Ryan and Jeff Sessions on the scrapheap of history.
