Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) chided President Trump for embarrassing former FBI agent Peter Strzok and bureau attorney Lisa Page at a House Judiciary Committee open hearing on Wednesday. Jeffries said there was no witch hunt because all the people who started the investigation (Comey) or were investigators (Mueller) were Republicans.

"You were not concerned about the representational interest of Hillary Clinton," Jeffries said to Trump. "In fact, the top Republicans said the sole objective was to undermine her, the former first lady and Secretary of State. You weren't concerned with the reputational interest of Peter Strzok and Lisa Page. In fact, you embarrassed those two. They made mistakes, but you embarrassed those two."

He's got a point, not that this it was no witch hunt, because it was and still is. But the top investigators were all republicans, and republicans in the senate are still at it. The corruption encompasses both the republicans and the dems, they are the deep state. barr is also part of that deep state, so I don't have any faith he will actually uncover anything. Trump is already the most investigated man in history, I don't see how he can do this all on his own. But I see no one in DC with the position that is on his side.
