LOL! I don't remember if I was ever vaccinate for chicken pox but I did contract it when I was in the Army......Caught it from my room mate and spent 10 days in quarantine......

Weirdest thing tho, all the skin on the bottom of my hands pealed off...........You wouldn't think much about it but everything I touched was either super hot or super cold or painful since the outside layer of the skin cushions all those sensations...........

Getting chicken pox is natural vaccination/immunization.

My guess is the parents intentionally exposed him to chickenpox to end the debate and not violate their religious beliefs. I disagree with them on vaccinations, but I approve of their seriousness about their religion.

Yeah - and now he has better immunity in older life than those who get the vax....horror of horrors he got what a very huge boatload of us got as kids...via the “chicken pox parties” Moms would do to get it over with.
