Colorado School Shooting: Student with Plan to Become Marine Disarms Suspect

A student who plans to become a Marine helped tackle and disarm one of the shooters at Colorado’s STEM School Highlands Ranch Tuesday.

NBC News reports that Brendan Brialy, a senior at STEM, and other students tackled one of the two gunmen during the 2:00 p.m. attack.

Local news this morning said the suspected shooter was first arrested as a boy. It was only after some period of time that they discovered the boy was transitioning to a girl.

That is sad to hear. I did read that a second student involved in tackling the gunman was shot in the chest during the counterattack.

That makes two kids within a month that gave their lives to stop a gunman - the other being Riley Howell, an ROTC cadet in North Carolina.

Now we have American kids who have to fight against a shooter with their bare hands because the liberals in government and some liberal teachers won't let teachers or older students carry firearms or even other weapons for defensive use.

But, being Americans, now we have kids ready to fight to save their classmates even if it costs them their own lives. We really are the land of the brave.

He will go to boot camp at MCRD San Diego. All recruits from east of the Mississippi, and women go to MCRD Parris Island. Chicks train at Parris Island, real Marines train in San Diego!!!

The last part is just good old fashioned trolling of Parris Island Marines. It’s been going on since Jesus was LCpl. I’m San Diego Marine, also known as a “Hollywood” Marine by those P.I. pukes.

I worked at the Recruiting Command for several years. The recruit can request which depot they are sent to.

I can tell you, conversations have occurred, decisions have been made. There are people have gotten to where they aren't going to wait around for the government to do something (if ever) and are going to do their duty for their fellow students if the time comes. The sheepdogs among us are quietly expanding in numbers.

arrived about a month before you. A couple of Marines that I went through
A-school with probably were there with you. Of the 5 Marines in that
class, I was the only one from PI. Thankfully the rest of the class were
squids so I didn't take too much abuse from them...lol
