The New York Times obtained 10 years of Donald Trump’s tax documents from his federal income tax returns — for the years 1985 – 1994.
To be clear, The Times did not obtain Trump’s actual tax returns, rather they obtained printouts from his IRS transcripts with numbers from his tax form, 1040, from an individual who had legal access to them.....
At first glance, it is being reported that Donald Trump core businesses (hotels, apartment buildings and casinos) took a $1.17 billion loss. Big deal, he’s in the real estate business which fluctuates all the time.
The Times also said that Trump didn’t pay federal income taxes for 8-10 years — of course this is normal for business owners as they can roll their losses over (net operating loss), but the stupid liberals don’t understand this concept and will surely use it to hammer Trump.

I had a friend who worked at the IRS and he said you can get fired for accessing a taxpayer account that isn’t part of your caseload.

I could totally see him doing that. I just looked up Art of the Comeback and it was published in 1997... right after (and apparently about) this time period.
Obviously, none of what he did was illegal, or the IRS would have dropped the hammer. And the fact that this stuff is being pedaled now isn’t going to have any impact on 2020. Once again, the libs crash and burn.

Maybe to try to prove in court there is no legitimate legislative purpose for the subpoena of Trumps’s tax returns, only to try to smear him. This is what they are arguing to overturn the Congressional subpoena of his returns.
You got a better shot at finding the Ark of the Covenant before seeing any of Zero’s college records or anything showing who or what has been backing him for the last 4 decades.

It amazes me that liberals actually believe the IR freakin S would not squeeze scrutinize every detail and every penny they can from a billionaire. They actually believe the IRS whose sole and only purpose is to extract money from people was too stupid to do their jobs and that Trump should somehow be impeached because he, an extremely high profile guy even then was so diabolically clever that he was able to outwit the entire IRS. It is exhausting watching the same democrats proclaim trump the biggest dummie alive, but simultaneously capable of fooling the entire IRS for decade after decade, but also able to fool half the country into voting for him, not by spending the largest amount of corporate lobbyist money by far than in the history of the republic, but using a few krappy facebook ads
