The Democrat party has 245 declared candidates for president. Twenty are identified as notable elected officials and public figures. The other 225?
And, second, here is the list of the other 225 people. Do you know any of these people?
Personally, I recognize a few of these people but most definitely not. Do you know any of these candidates?
I thought that they would eventually get to all registered democrats being candidates. Be some long ballots. Several million choices on the dem side vs only President Trump on the R side.
Don’t know who or why the list was put together but the same names appear in the two different lists. What’s the point?
A few weeks ago when I looked it was just in the 220’s

I remember when George Bush was considered to be unbeatable and everyone mocked the Seven Dwarfs. How did that work out?
Well that narrows it down.
Of the first list I only have name recognition of 11 and of those maybe 5 or 6 are getting enough press to be even remotely familiar.
How did it work out? Compared to what? Al Gore? Bush was great compared to Al Gore.

Yes the top 20 are in the full list of 245. Apologize for that duplication but there are still 225 others there this park so will known. Actually some of those 20 or not well known. Overall, a bunch of nobodies.

I worked in a large company that had a complete idiot running a very large department. When he got promoted into a safer spot the entire department applied for his job. People who had never applied for a higher position applied. The thinking was that if an absolute idiot could run the department then they could too, and do it better.
