Now arriving at obstruction junction, stand clear, and exit to the left. That’s the next step in the evolutionary chain for the Russian collusion myth. Yes, there are some morons in the liberal media who actually think the report submitted by Special Counsel Robert Mueller proved that their two-year campaign of peddling straight lies about the Trump-Russia story were vindicated. In the real world, there are multiple times where the Mueller probe said there was no collusion, no evidence of collusion, and pretty much delivered a double tap to this narrative. It’s dead. Like Robb Stark at the Red Wedding, Trump-Russia collusion is a dead, bloody mess.
On obstruction, there wasn’t enough evidence to bring charges, a decision confirmed by Attorney General William Barr and outgoing Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. It’s this arena that the Left has planted their flag, and yes—there’s little to no evidence to support the claim. I mean if you think the entire liberal echo chamber of CNN saying there is obstruction counts…because they’re former Clinton and Obama operatives and officials who simply don’t like Trump—I don’t know what to say to you other than this is reality, there is not enough evidence, and your views are still trash. We won, you lost, and Trump is still president. Pack that in your pipe and smoke it. Also, as for the Russian collusion myth, a great many of us already knew there was no evidence in this epic with-hunt.
So, how do we keep the flames burning on this whole saga? Well, have some 350+ former prosecutors, Democratic and Republican, say Trump would’ve been charged with obstruction if he weren’t president. It’s bipartisan. It carries water, right? Nope. As we’ve seen, Republicans opposed to Trump can be just as cancerous as MSNBC. Also, did you notice who was also a signatory (via WaPo):
More than 370 former federal prosecutors who worked in Republican and Democratic administrations have signed on to a statement asserting special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s findings would have produced obstruction charges against President Trump — if not for the office he held.
The statement — signed by myriad former career government employees as well as high-profile political appointees — offers a rebuttal to Attorney General William P. Barr’s determination that the evidence Mueller uncovered was “not sufficient” to establish that Trump committed a crime.
Mueller had declined to say one way or the other whether Trump should have been charged, citing a Justice Department legal opinion that sitting presidents cannot be indicted, as well as concerns about the fairness of accusing someone for whom there can be no court proceeding.
“Each of us believes that the conduct of President Trump described inSpecial Counsel Robert Mueller’s report would, in the case of any other person not covered by the Office of Legal Counsel policy against indicting a sitting President, result in multiple felony charges for obstruction of justice,” the former federal prosecutors wrote.
“We emphasize that these are not matters of close professional judgment,” they added. “Of course, there are potential defenses or arguments that could be raised in response to an indictment of the nature we describe here. . . . But, to look at these facts and say that a prosecutor could not probably sustain a conviction for obstruction of justice — the standard set out in Principles of Federal Prosecution — runs counter to logic and our experience.”

Among the high-profile signers are Bill Weld, a former U.S. attorney and Justice Department official in the Reagan administration who is running against Trump as a Republican; Donald Ayer, a former deputy attorney general in the George H.W. Bush Administration; John S. Martin, a former U.S. attorney and federal judge appointed to his posts by two Republican presidents; Paul Rosenzweig, who served as senior counsel to independent counsel Kenneth W. Starr; and Jeffrey Harris, who worked as the principal assistant to Rudolph W. Giuliani when he was at the Justice Department in the Reagan administration.
Okay, the letter doesn’t push for any legal action whatsoever.
“Those signing it did not explicitly address what, if anything, they hope might happen next,” says The Post. Then, who cares? We have a Weld walking into a political death trap by trying to challenge Trump. He won’t succeed. And some former Bushies saying Trump did some bad, bad things. So what? Trump is still president. And the fact that there is no call to action means you can just ‘click next’ on this whole story. Either way, Trump is staying. There could’ve been 400 people signing this letter, maybe even 1,000. Trump won and the Left lost. What it did accomplish is giving Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY), Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), and the rest of the rabid anti-Trump Left (and Right) more ammunition to try and hamstring his presidency yet again. And as with all these attempts related to this Russia nonsense, it will fail. It will shatter into a million pieces, like the Night King.
On a positive note, the Left continues to descend into pure madness with this collusion delusion, hoping to weaponize any of it, no matter how spurious, to try and impeach this president. It only makes them look more unhinged.

If the evidence of obstruction is so over whelming why did Mueller and his team of Hillary supporters not charge the president are at least say he obstructed justice?

Before Trump progressives could scream and threaten and expect their concerns would be honored. Since Trump they have lost all honor. They are not only to be dismissed, they are to be cursed. They are exposed as true enemies.
There is also the fact that Trump cooperated substantively with the Mueller investigation. He did not assert any form of privilege. (Democrats regularly do otherwise.) He directed everyone in his administration to cooperate and testify. (Democrats regularly do otherwise.) He did not stonewall subpoenas, and he met deadlines. (Democrats regularly do otherwise.) He did not bleachbit electronic records, destroy materials that were under subpoena, or sledgehammer his electronic devices. (Democrats … well, you know.)
To argue that Trump's angry tweeting and intemperate private language constituted obstruction when he was nonetheless cooperating substantively was also a bridge too far -- especially since Hillary Clinton got a pass on clearly obstructive behavior by the Obama DOJ.
