The Joy Reid show did its best today to stoke fears that President Trump would refuse to leave office if he loses the 2020 election. Dark theories were floated, including the notion that Trump would enlist the military in a "coup d'etat," with support from Republican "monarchists" in Congress. There was also criticism of Nancy Pelosi for refusing to pursue impeachment.

Wine-Banks ended the scare-mongering segment by warning, "you could say it can’t happen here. I think a lot of people in past history have said the same thing and it did happen. And we have to be vigilant now, and we have to really get out the vote." That last line actually gave away the game: what better way to "get out the vote" than by frightening Dems into believing that unless they vote in massive numbers, President Trump will cling illegitimately to power?

Why does anyone care about what this bunch of psychos says? They haven’t told the truth in decades and won’t.

If I were President, I’d get the best, slickest person to find a way to stop/fix/shutup the lying attacks. There are bright minds that can come up with a way to stop it. Our country has had enough damage done to it in the past 2+ years...
Barr fixed the attacks from congress... he is not going back. SURELY there is something to do about the rude behavior of those in position to know better. Barr took the insults all day... and NO ONE should be subjected to that kind of treatment in Washington, for the world to see.
This is not normal.. and old rules don’t work on these kind of treatments just because the other side has taken to being the rude and obnoxious creatures,
You wouldn’t sit and let someone tear you apart.. 30 of them accusing you of being worse than dirt.. why should AG Barr or Pres Trump have to have it all day every day, from those who are full of hate and anger.. and taking it out on whomever.
