Original in Japanese: 北朝鮮の飛翔体、弾道ミサイルか 国連制裁違反の可能性 ("North Korean Launch, Could Possibly Be Ballistic Missile, and Possible UN Violation")
Two paragraph synopsis from the original Japanese--my translation (breaking):
"Kim Jong Un personally oversaw the launch of projectiles yesterday from the east coast of North Korea into the Sea of Japan. Now based on photo analysis of the launch from images provided by official North Korean news sources, South Korean military specialists have analyzed the vehicle, and a viewpoint is emerging the launch yesterday was, in fact, likely a violation of United Nations Security Council resolutions against North Korea launching such ballistic missiles."
" According to North Korean media, the launches were practice tests of a new long distance multiple rocket launcher and also were done to confirm the functionality of new strategic weaponry by the North. As Kim Jong Un was giving the command onsite, the photo shows the moment of launch of this vehicle. Professor Kim Dong Pa, a learned Kyongnan University (South Korea) scholar of the North Korean military, analyzed the photographs, stating it was verticle launch from a mobile vehicle using new targeting technology, capable of mounting a nuclear warhead with an incredible likeness to the Russian Iskander (Искандер), a shortage range ballistic missile. In February of last year, the Professor notes this missile was on display at the 70th anniversary of the Korean Military and was one of the ballistic missiles in the parade." (END OF SUMMARY TRANSLATION)
p
The missile systems are to replace the obsolete OTR-21 Tochka systems, still in use by the Russian armed forces, by 2020.
Russian version can launch a pair of 'projectiles" at a time.
Also - The SS-26 Iskander is a short-range, road-mobile, solid-fueled ballistic missile system. Development began in the Soviet Union during the early 1970s as replacement for the Scud B. The Iskander program was accelerated when the OTR-23 was banned by the 1987 INF treaty, resulting in a lack of a modern theater missile system. The Iskander has earned the nickname of the Son of Scud.
Interesting how you failed to further research much further into the PRIMARY where I not only provided my support for our President but also communicated that I had voted for him. Of course you didnt. Nah, that just stops your argument right in its tracks.
Does it hurt that badly to give up on rehashing a primary that occurred....say.... over 3 years ago?
We see you...
The State department is up again early, undermining Trump.
State department is a nest of traitors to America.
Youre so cute including your girlfriend groupie in your response.
The Asahi Shimbun is considered a rather left-leaning newspaper. Probably required reading for the never Trumper community over there.
But don't feel too bad, at least he beat his wife!☺
You never addressed my join date. First you call me a noob to discredit me as if that holds any bearing, then NeverTrumper. You then doubled down on stupid by further calling into question my join date (of course further not doing any research on what I stated). Once you were further caught with your crank in your hand (who I voted for) you lash out (because thats what is so in these days) by labeling me.
This whole episode is hilarious.
Im sorry but the only folks I find butt hurt and constantly reminding folks of a primary that ended over 3 years ago. Whats that song, let it gooo let it gooo
Thats the difference between basing someones success on policy and action vs. the person and your reply speaks volumes. Your boy
I dont have a boy Im not an idol worshipping fanatic. I got sick of seeing that with the last President. You may have a boy but of course you do this is why you snap when there is a policy disagreement voiced with our President. I proudly voted for Trump, think he is doing wonderfully, I DO NOT AGREE with 100% of what he does and feel he was naive in this instance. If that make me a Never then so be it. Whatever term du hour makes ya happy skippy
Blubberty! blubberty!
NeverTrump, always chump. ;-)
Nana nana boo boo
Which is why JarJar & ANeverTrumperInEdo get a thrill up their leg whenever they see a lefty "TrumpFail in NorK" article.
Nit sure Kim is the one making decisions here. Not sure he’s in control.
I had a chance to watch North Korean TV during one of their meetings, Kim never said a word, he just sat there, while other speakers were going on. It made me question right there, if he was just a figurehead.
Kind of like Hirohito, when Tojo was really running the show, so the question is, who is the Nork’s “Tojo”?
I wonder if NKTojo is Korean, maybe Chicom? But it indeed looks like Kim is controlled.
Yes, he’s like an Emperor figurehead might be. Not calling the shots.
Adding a fact that may be relevant; PRC is very opposed to Korean reunification. It is likely they will do anything to stop it.
