N. Korean Launch Could Possibly Be Ballistic Missile, and UN Resolutions Violation (Photos)
Asahi Shimbun (top Japanese major daily -- in Japanese) ^ | 5 May 2019 | Reporter Takeshi Muta (in Seoul, South Korea)

Posted on 05/05/2019 8:42:49 AM PDT by AmericanInTokyo

Original in Japanese: 北朝鮮の飛翔体、弾道ミサイルか 国連制裁違反の可能性 ("North Korean Launch, Could Possibly Be Ballistic Missile, and Possible UN Violation")

Two paragraph synopsis from the original Japanese--my translation (breaking):

"Kim Jong Un personally oversaw the launch of projectiles yesterday from the east coast of North Korea into the Sea of Japan. Now based on photo analysis of the launch from images provided by official North Korean news sources, South Korean military specialists have analyzed the vehicle, and a viewpoint is emerging the launch yesterday was, in fact, likely a violation of United Nations Security Council resolutions against North Korea launching such ballistic missiles."

" According to North Korean media, the launches were practice tests of a new long distance multiple rocket launcher and also were done to confirm the functionality of new strategic weaponry by the North. As Kim Jong Un was giving the command onsite, the photo shows the moment of launch of this vehicle. Professor Kim Dong Pa, a learned Kyongnan University (South Korea) scholar of the North Korean military, analyzed the photographs, stating it was verticle launch from a mobile vehicle using new targeting technology, capable of mounting a nuclear warhead with an incredible likeness to the Russian Iskander (Искандер), a shortage range ballistic missile. In February of last year, the Professor notes this missile was on display at the 70th anniversary of the Korean Military and was one of the ballistic missiles in the parade." (END OF SUMMARY TRANSLATION)

KCNA yesterday also released a photo of Kim observing and directing the launches on the Hodo Peninsula near Wonsan on the east coast. (Obviously not a happy camper these days):

It is my understanding they tried to hit (and I believe did) an island offshore, that is why it is on the screen behind little Rocket Man here. There were nine launches that day. So one can see the differences in vehicles that went up. The “Iskander” ballistic missile- close cousin is on the lower right and bottom.

NeverTrumpInEdo is once again merrily trying to push the Democrat Narrative to sabotage President Trump...

Planet Labs also caught the area of the launch almost immediately afterward, from satellite high above DPRK. Interesting rocket plume left behind. Smile. On Candid Camera! (Here. Cannot link)

I’m laughing hysterically right now. You don’t even have to say a word, simply post an article informing people of what is taking place, never uttering a single word about our President and you bring the Never this, never that melting snowflake brigade. We truly do have ANTIFA-Lite zealots filling these forums.

This is hilarious to witness

Well, it is a provocation, purposely, and an insult. But this is their way of getting attention. They behave for a while when they get something, when it looks like the pipeline for their goodies is slowing down, North Korea start more trouble. It is over and over and over. There is no end to it. They got their way in Singapore, BIG TIME, but then they did not in Hanoi, thank goodness. Already there are reports that some of the aides assigned to Hanoi summit were removed from positions, maybe even imprisoned, and Kim was violently angry over the whole thing as he stalked back to Pyongyang by train.

As a result, (and you can read it on his face here) you can see the typical, predictable measured tantrums starting again. Very predictable.

“...There is no end to it....”

Yeah, the next move is Trump’s. Fat boy needs to be “hit” hard. The game needs to be turned around. He needs to be made to look INEFFECTIVE to those that would just as soon see him replaced. Much more pressure needed.

You assume far too much. My original registered name was AbsoluteJustice sometime back in 99/2000. I took a hiatus after the birth of my daughter, forgot the original email address it was registered under and came back with new email address and name.

That places me at what? 19/20 years? Not that that matters any.

Un could have been Mad Magazine’s poster child, “What, me worry?” He can only be trusted to do what he wants no matter what he says. The only time he’s not lying is when he tells you he is.

All too easy:

What if Donald Trump had been a Member of Congress? (Vanity)

Let's play the hypothetical what if game. In this what if game let's hypothesize a voting record we have been unable to capture because said person never served. Be it as it may I will attempt to lay out my case as to why I am unable to vote for Donald Trump. I will also lay out the case of the way he would have voted on very important decisions for conservatives had he been a member of Congress. I will attempt to do this by utilizing his own words, his actions and beliefs that are well documented and compare some of these same positions to RINOS (yes RINOs) and liberals we have railed against for many years here within FR. I will also utilize imagery of support for another that is not tied to voting but support of an individual; be it good will or otherwise...

Cruz on, NeverTrumper...
