James Woods, one of the few conservative stars in Hollywood, has been locked out of his Twitter account for over a week now for abusive behavior, once again demonstrating the double standard the tech giant holds when it comes to enforcing rules.
Twitter suspended Woods for a tweet that read, If you try to kill the King, you best not miss #HangThemAll, according to his girlfriend Sara Miller.
The tweet was apparently in reference to the Mueller report, which found no conspiracy between the Trump campaign and Russia. The quote is from Ralph Waldo Emerson and has been used in various forms in movies and TV shows like The Wire.
Nevertheless, this post apparently met the threshold on Twitter for abusive behavior.
Twitter does not appear to have the same standard for leftists. As Breitbart News has reported, there are several examples of actual violent threats going unchecked by the social media company.

Yes I saw Tucker tonight. This is out of control. Banning James Woods?
Conservatives must come up with alternative to Facebook and Instagram and Twitter. Someplace where we won’t be shunned for having the wrong opinion. I really don’t know how to do it but I’m sure someone here does and I will join immediately.
I would love to have James Woods as a Freeper!
I second that!
What about the Bald Eagle as a title, and then in small print, a Haven for conservatives
You might first try the BBC version aired in December of 1954, starring the inimitable Peter Cushing as "Winston Smith."
The 1956 film version isn't bad, either! It stars Edmond O'Brian as "Smith" and "Michael Redgrave" as the Inner Party Member who brainwashes him.
Of course, you should also watch the Richard Burton performance, filmed in the actual year of 1984 in London.
Regards,
Would it kill you FReepers to dump Comcast, dump ATT, and stop patronizing Disney?
Or would you rather just bitch and moan about the idiot in front of the camera?
Yeah, I’m a broken record... but it’s fact that these entrenched corps are pissing in our shoes and on the Country every damn day. And to willingly patronize them is simply hypocrisy.
Tell me I’m wrong.
He may already be here.
You never know....
Is that the tv show with Patrick McGoohan?
I always forget about that one.
I’ve heard from many FR posters that it’s good.
I’ll have to try watching it.
I looked it up.
It sounds interesting.
That’s what I was thinking. I hope so like you said, you never know.
You really can’t compare FR to FB when you consider viewership. He might be here, but people who could learn something from his posts never would see them as they don’t come here, or even know FR exists.
You expect the govt to do a good job at promoting objectivity
Only if they pass laws proclaiming these folks cannot editorialize except for promoting violence
Remember when in the early days folks like Jobs wanted a completely free non content controlled internet
When did progressives get the reins
Google has banned the app for Gab
Its not so simple
Trump is talking about this a lot
What can he do as president
Anyone?
True but you can access it directly with a web browser.
Well it ticks me off that my account was locked while I emailed back and forth with them for three days when I had not violated any rules other than someone or software thought I “looked suspicious.” That’s ridiculous.
I’ll have to see what I can find.
Thanks for that information.
Very true. Been a long time since “Diet Smith”(?) for me.
Perhaps that’s where they got the idea?
Nonetheless, it’s interesting (at least to me) that they’ve arrived.
Of course. At least he’d find link-minded folks.
And that is exactly why Twitter went after him. They’re afraid he’s instructing too many of the brainwashed cult.
“HangThemAll,
I like that.
Pound then hang them all.
May I suggest pay per view?
