Fixed that. Now he’s getting 5-10.
Welcome to the modern age
Stupid and peabrained. Some drivers or vendors forget that they are not
owed a five star rating everytime.
It happens in smaller transactions too.
I bought a CD (yes, I still buy CDs) online.
Out of 21 songs, I only like two, so I threw the CD away.
Days later, an email arrives asking me to ‘rate my experience’. Okay. I gave it two stars, but explained that I just made a bad choice. The seller didn’t do anything wrong.
Days after that I get another email. This time from the seller asking why I ‘gave them a bad rating?’.
I explained what happened. The seller said ‘I get it, but would you still change that rating?’
I said NO. No I won’t,as that was the truth.
I also told the seller we had nothing else to discuss, so stop emailing me, or I would need to ‘ask Ebay for advice’.
They stopped.
And you don’t think punishing the
seller for your bad choice is a—hole behavior?
That’s a rather dickheaded thing to do.
You are rating your experience transacting with the seller, not your experience with the CD.
“or I would need to ask Ebay for advice.”
Good luck with that. A few years ago I sold an item on ebay but the high bidder wouldn’t pay. He wanted a discount. I said no and told him to pay up. This went back and forth a few times and then he started sending me nasty messages via the private ebay messaging. He probably sent me 20-25 messages calling me every name in the book. I complained to ebay and they did nothing. Then I CALLED ebay and, eventually, got through to a supervisor and he looked at the situation and told me the guy would probably be suspended from ebay for a good while. What happened? Nothing. At the time the guy had an ebay score of about 700. Mine was 80. Ebay gave me back the fees that I paid for the listing and that was it. When I resold it it didn’t bring quite as much as it did the first time. I hate ebay.
The passenger made a point of telling the driver she would not be giving her a five-star rating. Apart from this the driver would have no way of knowing who gave her a low rating.
Fortunately the driver will go to jail and the passenger will be ok, but the passenger could have died as the result of getting confrontational. Pick your battles. This one was not worth it.

I’m still sort of new to using Ebay and private sellers.
I will overlook your impulse to insult people and think about your actual message. What they are asking is how was my experience with that seller. Hmm. Okay. Now I’ve got it.
You a good guy. Now got do the right thing.
I still buy CDs as well.
The music is stuff only a few people would ever care about. Vintage TV and movie soundtracks.
The Quinn Martin 2 CD set arrived yesterday. Good tunes.
I dont think you were supposed to review the CD.
That is normally only a service review, which you said was fine.
Amazon is where your main review is for the product.
I think you did that seller wrong.
I know that now.
I’ll be better prepared in the future to respond like everybody else.
Reminds me of that old video game that when you hit a pedestrian they would turn into a tombstone for points.
My son is an avid seller on ebay. Sellers depend on getting good ratings so that others will be interested in buying from them, also. The rating is for the transaction, as you know now, i.e. shipping time, was the item in good condition upon receipt and things of that nature.

Grammar refresher courses for everyone!
Either that or reading comprehension skills. Take your choice. 8>)
The woman who was struck called lyft to take her and her daughter to 7-Eleven at midnight. And then she goes out of her way to tell the driver that she’s not giving her a 5-star rating. I’m reading between the lines and making the woman who got struck equally culpable.
