So we learn from Kamela Harris’ questioning that the same DOJ “career” ethics officers who advised Jeff Sessions he must recuse himself because he once shook hands with the Russian ambassador advised Rod Rosenstein that it was no problem for him to supervise the special counsel even though Rosey participated in the decision to fire Comey and was a witness to it.
I guess now that Rosey has detected the change in direction of the wind with Barr’s appointment as AG and has adjusted his sails accordingly, the Dems are now flip flopping back to the position that Rosey is a bad guy.
Rosenstein is resigning this month, so his work to try to unseat President Trump is over. Thank God he failed.
This is where Barr should have reminded her that Sessions found out later he was advised wrongly on recusal and Sessions offered to resign but President said no.
Barr missed this point big time.
One thing I didn’t hear when they were discussing Trump wanting Mueller to be removed from the investigation for conflicts of interest was why. One main thing is Mueller applying for a job with the Trump administration and not getting it. That right there was a disqualifier.
Harris and Hirono are hurting their own party, by just being a member of it.
Wasn’t Rosenstein’s call. Barr told Trump if Trump wants him Barr gets to choose his own staff and Trump agreed.
