Normalcy bias occurs when people are faced by a traumatic situation or something so dramatic that the person has no point of reference, no past experiences to rely on to base judgement calls on. Often the event seems so surreal that the person's only way of dealing with it is to decide that what they have seen happen or is happening is not real and it is as if to them as it isn’t real, then there is no need to do anything or that someone will be along shortly to set things right. Our country is changing right before our eyes and most people can't or won't see it.
Nobody is coming along to 'fix' the illegal invasion. President Trump is trying but he is being fought at every turn. I can only hope the families of the politicians, judges and others responsible for this mess are personally affected by this invasion in the worst possible ways.....
I think I will scream if I read or hear another story of someone killed by a drunk driver with a Hispanic surname. Seems to happen daily here in Texas. No offense to legal citizen Hispanics...
The CDC is going along with it. They freaked out in 2000 when my daughter was misdiagnosed with mumps...I mean flipped out. They told me there had been no active cases in US for almost 50 years. She was a senior and was not going to get to finish school and graduate. I had to answer a thousand questions because they were trying to figure out where she got it.
Look up mumps in US now on internet. They say we have always had a few cases and yes we are getting more, it is a big deal but they act like not such a big deal.
Take a guess why none of them ever get shipped to D.C..
