New Poll Reveals Double Digit Difference Between Sanders and Biden

Joe Biden has emerged as the frontrunner among Democrats, who overwhelmingly support the former vice president more than Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT).

According to a new CNN/SRSS poll released Tuesday morning, 39 percent of Democrats surveyed favor Biden while Sanders drew support of 15 percent of Democrats—a 24-point difference.

Biden and Sanders are the only two Democratic candidates whose support was in the double digits, the poll showed.

The next candidates to pull in the strongest numbers were Sen. Elizabeth Warren at 8 percent and South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg at 7 percent. Former Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke had 6 percent support, followed by Sen. Kamala Harris at 5 percent. According to CNN, the other 17 Democratic candidates surveyed only received 2 percent support or less.

Biden's lead extends across most every major demographic or political group, though it shrinks some among younger voters (31% Biden to 19% Sanders among those under age 45), liberals (32% Biden to 19% Sanders) and whites (29% Biden to 15% Sanders among white voters).

Still, only about a third of potential Democratic voters with a preference in the race (36%) say they will definitely back the candidate they currently support, 64% say they could still change their minds. Those who say they are locked in are more apt to back Biden: 50% in that group support him, 21% Sanders, 8% Warren.

Biden and Buttigieg were the only candidates to show significant gains from CNN's March survey, with the former receiving an 11-point surge in support and the latter posting a 6 percent increase.

The survey was conducted between April 25-28 and has a margin of error for Democratic-leaning voters of 5.9 percentage points.

Biden would be tough for Trump to beat. Biden styles himself as a Pennsylvanian. I think it would be hard for Trump to beat Biden in PA. And he really needs all of the States that he won last time around.

But at the same time I’m not convinced Biden can win the nomination. An old white guy just doesn’t compete in the Dem Party anymore.

Groper Joe was slurring his words yesterday at his 1st event.

Sounds like that brain transplant is rejecting it's host.

No the mainstream media would not allow it. The Bernie has more court presence then Biden ever had. Biden could croak on stage. If you watched Biden speech yesterday you realize he doesn’t have it.

I'm telling you all Biden is going to crush this field. Bernie has been submarined by all these wannabe Ches, they'll fracture his vote.

The early primaries are white as rice & also loaded +60 with voters who still remember FDR's #NewDeal, not Cortex's #GreenDeelAllUpInThisBoiiii.

And yet, even if Slow Joe is the presumptive candidate after Super Tuesday, he's gonna lose the general badly.

It's a gift, truly a gift from God, that the Democrat's should deliver unto Trump an opponent in Biden that from many perspectives, is an even less plausible candidate than Hillary.

They'll just stay home: women, blacks, BernieBros -- Biden will endure an electoral wipeout.

Bafflement wins every time. It is impossible to divine the thought processes of most people over on the left-of-center and WAY-left-of-center, as they are not strong on logic at arriving at their conclusions and forming their opinions.

Socialism, the hallmark of the kind of mental gymnastics of those who aspire to the “comfort” of a command-and-control governance, is a Siren call to those who try to negotiate the narrow strait between Scylla, represented by the rocky shoal, and Charybdis, represented by the swift current and undertow of a whirlpool. With any form of socialism, your are stuck between a rock and a hard place, either to be ground to pieces in the chaos of unending and unresolved conflict, or to be drawn into a militaristic society. Those are the only two outcomes in a post-socialist regime.

Emotionally, socialism seems to promise the end to want, conflict and onerous responsibilities, but it has NEVER delivered on any of these vague objectives.

The magnetic allure of Gropin’ Joe? He does not offer to apply the socialist state all at once and immediately, preferring to heat the water that ends up boiling the frog but more slowly.

Slow Joe, indeed.

“MSM”. The mockingbird state media is all in for dirty joe. The deep state prefers its politicians to stay bought and the newest batch of marxists have them worried.

Utter garbage poll. Creepy(Groping) Joe is nothing more than the “new kid in school” who gets a lot of attention. Nothing matters till the primary voting starts and the gloves come off. Crazy Bernie has a rapid response team of attack dogs assembled and ready to go.

He will not go down without HUGE fight.

LOL!

People reacting to this poll seemed to forget that we are at a point before Trump was even rumored to be entering the race.

At this time, Scott Walker was the front-runner.

It is absurd to even remotely take this crud seriously. Just media-tainment cheese for clicks.

[[Joe will be used to eliminate the rest of the field, then suddenly he will be eliminated and Hillary will jump in to save the party and country. ]]

All Joe has to do is pick a young commie for his running mate (once he gets the nomination) and the Bernie bots will flock to him.

Along the same line I can’t imagine Biden going for 18 months and three days on the last week. Hillary Clinton gave it up on September 11 with her trainers dragging her into the van. And he’s going to go for 18 months forget about it. This is an 18 month athletic event don’t let anyone convince you it’s otherwise. Joe doesn’t know what he’s getting himself into. His body is not ready for this, very few people’s bodies are. November of 2020 Joe will be 78 and throughly exhausted and dehydrated. If Sleepy Joe makes across the finish line it will be a miracle.Pass Joe some Gator Aid.

The ship has sailed for Hillary. The coming months will only prove worse for her as more and more comes out about the origin of the Russian collusion hoax and the extent of the spying on the Trump campaign and transition teams as well as on a sitting President. Sleepy Joe will also have a lot of ‘splainin’ to do. His boasting that the Obama regime was scandal-free will be exposed for the lie it is.

Did you see Biden’s ‘coming out’ speech yesterday? The guy behind him was yawning... funniest thing I’ve seen in a while.

I predict Biden will drop out after the NH Primary. Democrats are always looking for the next big thing. He’ll have disappointing finishes in IA and NH and his money will dry up.

See my post #11. SC will be the test. If Joe can capture the majority of the black vote, he will cruise the rest of the way with one caveat. The IG and Huber Investigations will be released in the upcoming months. How much the Obama Administration is implicated will determine Biden’s political future.

I think you're right. Democrats can release their fake polls all the way up until a real election - then the game's up for Biden. Same as pollsters assuring us Hillary would be President - all the way up until the votes were being counted...

(NH and Iowa aren't known for wide spread voter fraud.)

The media threw its back out for Hillary and then to take down Trump, and failed at both. The media needs an a$$-otomy (hip replacement), and can do no more heavy lifting for anyone. Credibility bone is broken.
