I hate to say this on Free Republic, but this is simply the Male Sex Drive at work. Men like sex, and power, and most of them hate women at some level (even on here. Especially on here.) This is the outcome. This is why Islam is so successful at recruiting, this is why wives were essentially property even in our own culture in the past: this is the world that the male sex drive creates.

I disagree. It is life in a "God-free zone" where everyone thinks there is no God, so "I" must be my own God, therefore I can do whatever I can get away with.

In the case of Islam, it is mistaking Satan for Allah.

A look at the Old Testament, the world of men having multiple wives, concubines, and slaves, even Godly men like King David and King Solomon, and Abraham, tells me that this is nonsense.
