Drive-Bys Do Dossier Damage Control

RUSH: Did you see where Bob Woodward is calling the Steele dossier a bunch of garbage? Bob Woodward is saying that there needs to be action taken to get to the bottom of it to find out how this garbage, how this outrage could have been so prominently used by the FBI and the CIA. Come on, Bob! You know what’s happening here, folks? First, over the weekend, we have the New York Times running the story that I highlighted prominently yesterday, where they now acknowledge that the Steele dossier could well have been (impression) “Russian disinformation.

“It’s likely the dossier is not proven. There’s nothing in it.” Why is the New York Times doing this? Why? They’re admitting that they ran with a series of lies for nearly two years, and now here’s Woodward the next day backing it up. Now something tells me that, you know, A, I think it is an acknowledgment that Barr is serious about his investigation to find out what the hell happened. And we know that the inspector general, Horowitz, is already looking into the FISA application process which is where the dossier was used.

The judges in that FISA court were either lied to or in on this. The attorney general, Barr, said that the inspector general report is due sometime in May or June. So these people who knowingly used and spread a series of lies are all of a sudden trying to get right with God, or whoever? It tells me they know what’s coming. It tells me that they know the jig is gonna be up and they’ve gotta somehow get themselves on the right side of this now because they know that the truth is going to be presented sooner rather than later.

The Steele “dossier” is an example of Russian disinformation.

The Russians may no longer be outright Communists, but they are still Russians, and this trait goes back to the time of Ivan the Terrible and before, when much of what is today Russia was dominated by the Khanate of Siberia.

What a surprise!

Russians have been injecting false information into US media and intelligence agencies!

I never thought I’d see the day.

Hell, now even the BRITISH are doing it!

You might say they're good capitalists too.

Someone (Hillary) came along with money to buy a specific product and the Russians sold them exactly what they asked for.

“an acknowledgment that Barr is serious about his investigation”

I’m skeptical. I don’t trust Barr. If he were an honorable man, and/or a professional attorney, he wouldn’t have released the last half of the Mueller Report. It wasn’t a legal document, and nothing having to do with the law was in it. It was schoolgirl gossip clearly created to fuel impeachment.

Barr didn’t have to release it, or even the majority of the first part, but he did. I hope I’m wrong, but I don’t trust him.

The attorney general, Barr, said that the inspector general report is due sometime in May or June.

Yay, so we get to wait 1-2 more months for any possible action to take place. Plenty of time for all of this to be swept under the rug.

If I understand this correctly, Hillary, whose illegal server was hacked apart more than the Hutu’s bought a dossier from a British ex-spook who was in contact with the Russians.

It sounds to be like Hillary Clinton is directly responsible for this entire mess. Good thing she wasn’t elected. She wouldn’t be able to get a security clearance.

It was schoolgirl gossip clearly created to fuel impeachment.

And now everybody knows that it was just that.
Thus the point in releasing it...IMO.

P.S. It's going to make impeachment much more difficult as well.
You can't start a fire without a spark so Dems are just dancing in the dark. {;^)

“If he were an honorable man, and/or a professional attorney, he wouldn’t have released the last half of the Mueller Report.”

I disagree as I believe Barr will pleasantly surprise you. He’s a law and order, by the book “hard a$$” and he doesn’t care about power or prestige. He took this job because he cares for this country.

As for releasing the report....He had to as he promised he would in his confirmation hearings. He was simply living up to his word.

Had he not he would have lost all credibility and the concoctions of what was in the second half by the left and press would have been far worse than what was actually in there.

There are a lot of people in the admin to be queasy about but I don’t think Barr is one of them.

Remember the olden days when we called Gore a sore loser? He was a lightweight compared to Hillary. All he did was whine. She resorts to crime.
