I give Barr six months, if by October, he has not convened a Grand Jury to indict the conspirators in the attempted Coup, or reopened the investigation into Hillary's security breaches, then Bar will have proved himself to be just another Swamp Rat.

Please prove me wrong Mr. Barr.

When I see the first indictment and result in jail time I will believe in Barr. So far I am getting tired of waiting while our freedoms are eroding at a huge rate.

Looking good but it’s only the first quarter and too soon to tell.

“It took a few years for President Trump to get it right,”

Therein lies one of Trump’s major failings. He has had a very spotty record on his key appointments and it has resulted in major damage to his agenda. Sessions, Tillerson, Wray, Nielsen and others have been terrible picks.

Sure, barr, a original member of the deep state and bushie that supported jeb against Trump, is going to drain the swamp. That after he released a report, or rather a narrative written to damage Trump, against long standing doj/fbi standards. In short, barr released a document made to destroy Trump’s presidency by leading to more endless investigations and then leaves Trump out to dry. barr will never investigate the investigators in any serious way. He was the only one congress would confirm for a reason. Ask yourself, just how many in congress have come out to defend Trump, now or in the past? Why is rosenwiesel still an active player in the Trump investigation? Face it, barr is there to complete what obumber and sessions started.

Here we go again with the ridiculous attacks on Sessions. Does this idiot writer realize that Sessions recused himself because he too, was spied upon during the campaign and was compromised, and was used as a decoy so that Huber and Horowitz can do the real work behind the scenes?

You really are going to tell me that someone as intelligent as Trump didn't know ahead of time that Sessions was going to recuse himself and was taken off-guard. Yeah right.

Sessions did his job and he did it perfectly. He is going to be brought back to testify and will drop the hammer on a lot of people.

Look at the FReepers who have to come out and say negative things in response to a positive article.

More than anything Barr wants to give the DOJ and the FBI back to the American people. He has to fight the deep state to do that, but this man is smarter and tougher than all of them put together. I actually believe he will get it done.

The Democrats keep saying Bob Barr is acting like Trump’s personal attorney. Well, I remember clearly that Obama’s best friend, Eric Holder, was primarily an attorney for Obama, the Democrats, and the worst of the black community.

As for Loretta Lynch - she was clearly representing Bill and Hillary Clinton only.

a real AG would have arrested Hillary, Obama, Lynch, and Comey for participating in a conspriarcy to eliminate a political candidate for president and then over throw him after he was elected.

So far, Barr has been a modest surprise.

In 1991, all eight Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee voted to confirm Barr as Attorney General.

That was the same All-Star gang of Democrats who destroyed Robert Bork, and tried to destroy Clarence Thomas, but they voted 8-0 for Barr.

I think Barr made a strategic political error by accepting Mueller's “indecision” on the Obstruction issue.

Barr should have tossed the Report right back at Mueller and demanded that Mueller either “exonerate or implicate” Trump - or else delete the entire issue.

As for the future, will Barr seriously investigate or pursue the Deep State corruption that created the Mueller investigation?

I am not optimistic.

As to the Sessions and Rosenstein appointments, I totally blame Trump.

Trump should have instantly fired Sessions and withdrawn the Rosenstein nomination after Sessions recused himself.

I don't care what the Republican Senate leadership may have threatened.

Keeping Sessions and Rosenstein made Trump look like a weak political amateur - and the Democrats and the RINOs almost destroyed Trump because of that decision.

I wonder why we haven’t heard from Jeff Sessions? One would think he would admit to being snookered rather than being thought a coward.

Compared to what we’ve had, he’s a step in the right direction. If Hillary, etal end up behind bars we’ll have a winner.
