Excommunication is not dependent on a church official declaring it to be so. It is automatic He cannot receive communion without compounding mortal sin

I want to know because I’m not sure what prayer ends in “not Your will, but ours be done” anywhere in Scripture ... unless it’s implied in the background sort of faithlessness that resulted in God sending a prophet like Jeremiah to tell people why what’s about to happen is indeed about to happen.
