(CNN)"On April 13, 2019, at approximately 2 p.m. CDT, five to six Mexican military personnel questioned two U.S. Army soldiers who were conducting border support operations in an unmarked (CBP) vehicle near the southwest border in the vicinity of Clint, Texas," US Northern Command told CNN in a statement. "The US soldiers were appropriately in US territory" during the encounter, the statement added. During the incident, the Mexican soldiers pointed their weapons at the US troops, removing a soldier's sidearm and returning it to the unmarked US vehicle, the officials said. The Mexican troops were armed with what appeared to be assault rifles (Snip) Officials said that the US soldiers allowed the weapon to be taken "in an attempt to de-escalate a potential volatile situation."

One of the American soldiers spoke some Spanish and was able to explain the situation to the Mexican forces. The two sides talked the incident over and promised to de-conflict in the future, the officials said. "An inquiry by (Customs and Border Patrol) and (the Department of Defense) revealed that the Mexican military members believed that the US Army soldiers were south of the border," Northern Command said while adding that the US troops were north of the border. "Though they were south of the border fence, US soldiers remained in US territory, north of the actual border," the statement said, adding that "after a brief discussion between the soldiers from the two nations, the Mexican military members departed the area."

why doesn't CNN ask where the Mexican soldiers were relative to the border? Huh? CNN is a traitorous organization that hates the country in which it operates.
Next time, do whatever it takes to kill ANY Mexican soldier who confronts a U.S. soldier on the border and ESPECIALLY one who disarms one.
Next time..............shoot.
Better question, what is the mexican government guarding at the northern border? Hordes of Americans crossing the border becoming illegal aliens in mexico, sucking Mexican social services dry? smuggling budwieser into mexico? or burger king whoppers?
It could have been worse. They could have made the Americans kneel down and wear hijabs.
During the incident, the Mexican soldiers pointed their weapons at the US troops, removing a soldier’s sidearm...
WHAT?!!!?!?!?!?
Why aren’t the mexican soldiers DEAD!??!
If not at that moment so as to not get our soldiers killed, then it should have been VERY QUICKLY AFTER.
These mexicans have some b.lls and SCREW caring about what gets them upset.
I’m sick of that too.
I won’t talk tough and say I wouldn’t have relinquished my firearm. I never served and I don’t want to die.
But afterwards, there should have been some kind of action taken.
I guess it’s easy for me to say...
In other words,
Mexican soldiers invaded US territory illegally
Yes, this is serious
The Mexicans didn’t accidentally stray across the border, which is the Rio Grande. If they crossed the river, they knowingly and deliberately entered the US.
until the threat is neutralized.
So, was this in Minneapolis?
We may as well share a border with Iran or Afghanistan. Mexico is just as much an enemy as those two hellholes.
Shoot. Eric Holders guns have you outgunned bigtime.
Mexican army soldiers have been known to accompany drug mules to protect them from other drug mules. They have come as much as nine miles into US territory. They get paid a ton for this extra-curricular work.
But we usually ignore this, because, believe me, we DON’T want to get into a shooting situation. The rest of the Mexican troops would naturally be livid if their friends get shot at and/or killed. And then we would have REAL trouble along the border.
So de-escalation is the better way to go.
Means the Meskin soldiers crossed the Rio Grande into the US.
‘Talking’ to CNN is consorting with the enema.
Says vehicle was unmarked, wonder if they were in uniform?
Maybe not such a good idea to be in the area in unmarked vehicles???
Care to explain why you think it is best to ignore the armed intrusions by a foriegn state?
I stand by my plan for the border.
Military plus any armed citizens who want to help, cross the border and tart eliminating all the living filth for 200 miles deep. Corrupt politicians, cops, military, criminals. All gone.
Then take every single illegal back into the cleaned out area.
Establish 20 mile dmz on mexico, side and any living person in that zone is eliminated by our military.
Exactly. This was an armed invasion.
And they have done it before.
And they could very well be cartel faking being mexican military as well.
Why are they not dead?
Bad enough they surrendered.
