Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) issued a statement Friday tearing into President Donald Trump over the Mueller report, declaring he was “sickened” by its findings. Romney wrote, in a statement posted to Twitter, that it was “good news” Mueller’s team found insufficient evidence to charge Trump with conspiring with Russia to influence the 2016 election. “The business of government can move on,” he said.
“Even so, I am sickened at the extent and pervasiveness of dishonesty and misdirection by individuals in the highest office of the land, including the President,” Romney continued. “I am also appalled that, among other things, fellow citizens working in a campaign for president welcomed help from Russia-including information that had been illegally obtained; that none of them acted to inform American law enforcement; and that the campaign chairman was actively promoting Russian interests in Ukraine.

Mitt’s strategy is to cooperate with the House Democrats in passing Articles of Impeachment and then whipping the Senate Republican caucus to find 19 others who will vote to remove the President.

A veiled snub at Paul Manafort, who was NOT the campaign chairman in the Fall campaign....that was Kellyanne Conway.
Manafort was the convention campaign manager, from the end of the primary season to the end of the GOP Convention in Cleveland ten weeks later. His job was to keep the delegates for Trump on the straight and narrow.
Meanwhile, in regards to Ukraine, Biden’s son, Hunter, was on the board of directors of a large gas company in Ukraine.
A Ukraine government official started to investigate that gas company, and sitting Vice President Joe Biden told the president of Ukraine to stop the investigation, otherwise he, Biden, would cut off U.S. aid to Ukraine.
Is Romney going to mention this little factoid? If not, the RATS vying for the nomination against Biden surely will and if they don’t, President Trump and his team will do so should Biden be the RAT nominee.
