Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) issued a statement Friday tearing into President Donald Trump over the Mueller report, declaring he was “sickened” by its findings. Romney wrote, in a statement posted to Twitter, that it was “good news” Mueller’s team found insufficient evidence to charge Trump with conspiring with Russia to influence the 2016 election. “The business of government can move on,” he said.
“Even so, I am sickened at the extent and pervasiveness of dishonesty and misdirection by individuals in the highest office of the land, including the President,” Romney continued. “I am also appalled that, among other things, fellow citizens working in a campaign for president welcomed help from Russia-including information that had been illegally obtained; that none of them acted to inform American law enforcement; and that the campaign chairman was actively promoting Russian interests in Ukraine.

So we finanly start hearing from the republicans in congress. It’s just as I expected. Those of you who put your faith in barr have been had. barr pulled a fast one and left Trump out to dry. The republicans in congress will not help Trump. The hearings will be interesting, but in the end, they have the votes to remove Trump. They just wanted a fig leaf, it does not matter how thin it is.

When Romnuts is supporting a bill, Trump should invite him to the white house. When he gets there, his aid should give him a travel guide to Grand Cayman. When he asks what that is about, the aid should tell him there is a place there named “Hell”. He should go and when it freezes over call and he will then support his bill.
I so look forward to not voting for a GOP candidate endorsed by Romney.

Law enforcement already knew of Russian meddling -- as far back as 2014. In fact, it was the excuse they used to open the counter-intelligence investigation (spying) into Trump.
So, Mitt, the real question is, Why didn't the Obama administration do anything about Russian meddling, other than open a fraudulent spying campaign against a political opponent?
