Nobody on earth could have survived the onslaught he did:
his own party against him
a weaponized DOJ against him
a rigged election
wiretapping/spying on his campaign for almost a year before the election
all of the MSM against him
his own attorney general forced into impotence
the entire weight of the Chicago machine against him
the entire Clinton Foundation against him
Sore-ass, the Rothschilds, the Saudis, North Korea, and China against him
Inheriting the worst economy in 40 years (since Dhimmi Carter)
...and all you can do is suck your thumb he hasn't overthrown all of it yet singlehanded.
None so blind as he who does not want to see.
his inaugural speech was a fine statement of purpose. The problem is his whole plan is to spit in the wind. Oh sure, plenty of folks could have survived that. The fact of the matter is his win followed the normal pattern. A party gets the White House for 2 terms, then the other guys get the shot. Read a great article, right here on FR, back in 2003 about the very strong trend in presidential elections. In that article they said that the Dem nominee, no matter who it was, in 2008 would win. And then they said the GOP nominee, no matter who it was, in 2016 would win.
Not sucking my thumb about anything. Just pointing out reality. Reality is pols don’t get punished. That’s how things work here. That’s how they’ve worked here for a long time. When push comes to shove NEITHER party wants the other to face a reckoning because they know some day they’ll be out of power and they don’t want to face a reckoning. So there’s big talk, half assed “investigations”, and everybody moves on. That’s life. I’m not upset about it. I’m just pointing out to all you folks that insist this time for sure that the moose NEVER pulled a rabit out of that hat.
