Wow, that was fast and conclusive.
Very bad electric short-circuit on London bus.
“A French judicial police official said investigators think an electrical short-circuit most likely caused Notre Dame Cathedral fire.”
Translation: it got hit by moslem lightning.
Electrical short circuits are pretty brief in duration. Like 5 milliseconds. Now overloaded circuits with oversized fuses or breakers will heat up the wiring until it (the wire) becomes the fuse.
Bingo, exactly what I was thinking too.
Actually, more like a normal functioning practicing Muslim’s brain.
The short-circuited muslim brains are the “moderates” that DON’T burn down Churches, chop off heads, wage Jihad.
Always remember to treat the Muslim as if it is loaded. Always keep the muslim pointed in a safe direction. Your life depends on it.
I found some matches and I just couldn't help myself.
BS. First off all the wiring is in metal pipe. And there would be absolutely no way to even make such a determination after such massive destruction. Which came first the chicken or the egg. The fact that it was an accident was determined the moment the fire started. Just because that is the way officials want it to be. The so called investigation will be a whitewash because investigators have also made their bias known.
Speculation by an anonymous source. That sounds legit.
First, i would wait for their apology for attempting to destroy civilization for past x many centuries?

I will be surprised if we ever really know the cause.
They need to erect the world’s largest scaffolding “shed” around the structure and get a temporary roof over it so the years of work can begin. This will not be pretty.
When you think about the construction methods of the time - the walls were just stone blocks stacked high and braced with flying buttresses. There was no structural iron work at the time. So, what burned was the timber that formed the roof trusses and rested on the top row of structural stone. Assuming that stone was not damaged, you need to design a new roof and install it. The ornamental stonework repair will take a long time, but depending on whether a faithful restoration is required, or if modern methods and materials could be used (aluminum structure to roof?), the basic repair may not take that long.

Let’s not jump to conclusions.
It's true that the electrical codes in France in the 1300s were pretty sketchy.
