Former Massachusetts Gov. Bill Weld announced Monday he is officially entering the race for president, becoming the first Republican to challenge President Donald Trump in the 2020 race.
"Ours is a nation built on courage, resilience, and independence. In these times of great political strife, when both major parties are entrenched in their 'win at all cost' battles, the voices of the American people are being ignored and our nation is suffering," Weld, who had previously formed an exploratory committee, said in a statement.
"It is time for patriotic men and women across our great nation to stand and plant a flag. It is time to return to the principles of Lincoln -- equality, dignity, and opportunity for all.

Hint: They sabotaged Ray Moore's election and Traitor Ryan threw the Republican majority in the House.
So what? My cat Fluffy is too and he’s smarter than Weld the Wimp.
Weld!! LOL!!
Exactly...
Which people are being ignored clown? The ones who want a manufacturing job? The ones who live near the southern border and are alarmed at thousands of illegals over running their property? Christians bakers who don't want to their business destroyed if they don't want to bake a SS wedding cake?
Based on his history he probably means LGBTQ's, which is a very thin slice of the public. But they're not suffering in any way that I can see. Or, maybe he doesn't mean anything at all.
He’ll have to settle for Cracker Barrel then.
Thanks SeekAndFind. Ludicrous imbecile RINO.
Running for president becomes a career and a way of life for some people. Look at 86-year-old Mike Gravel on the Democrat side. Ralph Nader, Norman Thomas, Lyndon LaRouche, Harold Stassen. Some others were approaching “perennial candidate” status: Hubert Humphrey, Alan Keyes, Ron Paul. It helps if you have some cause to push, but if you really want to run and need to run, you’ll convince yourself that you do have one.
The bias liberal press will carry water for him, kiss his ring, and hate along with him. He's running on hatred for the middle class... You're right - Bill Weld's a jerk.
