While the world watched in horror at Paris historic Notre Dame Cathedral erupting in flames Monday, the fire is only the latest in a series of incidents that have left social media awash in images of heavily damaged churches. France has been hit with a string of fires at Catholic churches, some of which occurred alongside desecration of sacred objects and acts of vandalism. While the fire at Notre Dame appears to be an accident connected to renovations of the church, the image of the famous spire engulfed in flames is a hard hit on the historically deeply Catholic France, as well as Catholics all over who have seen their religion reeling from devastating scandals, cover-ups and attacks.
While Notre Dame is undoubtedly the most well-known landmark to be affected, Paris second largest church, Saint-Sulpice, briefly burst into flames on March 17, the fire damaging doors and stained glass windows on the building's exterior. Police later reported that the incident had not been an accident.

What is Gibbs rule about coincidences?
Did Saudi Arabia offered to rebuild it as a Mosque yet ?
I don’t think it does any good to lay blame in this until more is known.
That said, I really don’t trust the French to give an honest report on the cause, at least not directly. If it’s the result of religious enmity, they’ll leak it at some point.
“While the fire at Notre Dame appears to be an accident...”
IMO, it wasn’t.
There were several moslem terrorists on the construction crew, doing menial tasks, who brought-in accelerants and remote igniters, so that when they all pulled-off the job for Easter Week, they could detonate with a cellphone. Lots of nooks & crannies in that church to hide accelerants/igniter bombs.
Just a reminder, this is Holy Week.
did FOX “News” blame President Trump, yet?
Where there’s smoke, there’s fire and Muslims...
Lets reboot the crusades.
But just turned OFF Caputo cutting off a telephone guest that it’s all “conjecture”
From the moment I heard Notre Dame was burning, I figured it was a continuation of the muzzlime campaign of arson on French churches. And while we might mourn the loss of an architectural treasure like that, France has no one to blame but its incredibly stupid officials for allowing all those muzzlimes into their country. No-go zones and burning cars wasn’t enough, I guess, as a warning sign.
But hey, they've won two World Cups because of it.
Coincidence?

This was terrorism.
Destruction of all things Christian.
It’s what they do.
Coincidences are rarely ever that.
Muslims and Democrats have a lot in common.

I agree. Though the timing of it happening this week is suspicious.
I guarantee this will never happen in Poland. And they have a lot of beautiful old wooden churches there.
I know, I know. But it just does no good for anyone to go off half-cocked. Our side should stay away from that, IMHO.
It’s the Huguenots, I tell you.
Xi to Macron: this would have never happened if they stay inside the camps
