A survey conducted by Schoen Consulting in Canada for the Azrieli Foundation and the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany, also known as the Claims Conference revealed some disturbing data about Holocaust awareness.
75 years after the end of World War II, 54 percent of those surveyed did not know that six million Jews were killed during the Holocaust. 62% of millennials, people born in the 1980s and ’90s, did not know that six million Jews were killed in the Holocaust. 22% of millennials haven’t heard or are not sure if they have heard of the Holocaust. An alarming 52% of millennials cannot name even one of the over 40,000 concentration camps and ghettos in Europe during the Holocaust. Nearly one-quarter of all Canadians (23 percent) believe that substantially less than six million Jews were killed (two million or fewer) during the Holocaust, while another near-quarter (24 percent) were unsure of how many were killed.

Millenials know almost nothing about everything.
The Ministry of Education has seen to that.
I wish a director equal to Speilberg would make a big budget movie about Anne Frank. This would help to educate the masses, who were not fully informed about World History from that time.
I would want the director to stick to what happened and use the same sort of cast. Meaning, DO NOT cast the Anne Frank character using a Black or Arab or Transgender actress.
For 20 years I showed the PBS program ‘Memories of the Camps’ to my 8th-graders. I told them I was taking them on a trip to hell. Made more than a few of them nearly sick. Even the blasé ones got serious after about 20 minutes. Pretty sure they remember the Holocaust.
It’s being used as a handy vehicle to get others with money and higher populations involved in wars belonging to a different country on another hemisphere.
Genesis 12:3 refers to Israel and her people.
Then they will get to experience their own version of The Holocaust, in time.
It’s unacceptable to not know of the Holocaust.
It’s also an irritation to be beaten over the head
for something that happened 75 years ago.

I remember seeing TV shows on the horrors of the Holocaust sixty years ago, raw horror!
Not long back they showed some of those films on Newsmax, and I could not believe how they blurred out some of the same scenes lest the watchers be uncomfortable with what they were seeing.

An even better education would cover the eleven million people of all backgrounds killed in the camps, not just Jews.
Well over 100 million killed by communism in the last century.
Considering that people who will be voting in 2020 were born more than a decade AFTER the wall fell, not much.
