Impeachment is, at the end of the day, a purely political process.

impeachment is a political process, so all you need is a simple majority in the house to pass whatever you like as “articles of impeachment”, and you then need 2/3 of the Senate to vote that the person is guilty of the charges.
So yes the Dems could pass articles of impeachment for simply being alive, which is really what they believe in Trump’s case, he needs impeached simply because he breaths.... But you won’t get a conviction and removal from office for anything they do pass.
Impeachment was ALWAYS a non starter, red meat for the morons to keep them motivated and whipped up and get their votes, but it was NEVER a serious matter for this President.
