President Trump responded to reports Friday that his administration proposed releasing immigrant detainees in sanctuary cities by not only confirming the plan but saying it remains under “strong” consideration.
Further, the president tweeted that relocating illegal immigrants to these districts should make the "Radical Left" happy.
The comments came after The Washington Post first reported that the White House proposed sending the detainees to sanctuary cities twice in the last six months. The proposal was first floated in November amid reports of a large migrant caravan from Central America making its way to the southern border. The idea was again considered in February, amid the standoff with Congress over a border wall.

It will be INTERESTING, at least, to read the petitions to the court and know who the petitioners are.

That's not far from the truth. SF is very crowded, neighborhoods are jammed with cars and people, several times the number that they had several decades ago. Commerce areas have homeless everywhere on the streets. The only place that can handle a dumping of a million illegals are the neighborhoods along the ocean front - namely the Sunset District, Ocean Beach and Lake Merced. Tent cities along the Great Highway on the beach are a distinct possibility. When the tide rolls in many will wash out with the undertow thereby making more space for more illegals.
Oh, the REASON all those DHS folks were fired is because they REFUSED to carry out this order.

He has to do it, under existing laws that Democrats enacted. He has to release them after holding them 20 days, and a 9th circuit judge forbid him from releasing them back into Mexico. Can't hold them, can't shove them back over the border, what are ya gonna do?

What I want to know is, how do they determine where to release them now? Simply open the door at a detention center in whatever city they are in, and it becomes that cities problem? Yuma, Arizona, Texas, cities along the border? They shouldn’t be disparately impacted. They SHOULD go to cities that have very publicly and very politically offered them SANCTUARY. If “Sanctuary Cities” are legal, then releasing criminal aliens into those cities is also legal.
