The White House considered going after political opponents by pushing U.S. immigration authorities to release detained immigrants into "sanctuary cities," three sources familiar with the idea confirmed Friday.
They told The Associated Press that President Donald Trump considered the proposal amid his ongoing battling Democrats over border wall funding.
The Washington Post said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's district in San Francisco was among the targets.

The title makes out like they would think that is a bad thing to do. They have been dumping them in red states trying to flip the states blue, if not at least purple. To hell with Democrats. Let them feed and house the third world.

Agreed. In the cities of Minneapolis and St Paul, there are a number of areas that are heavily white, heavily upper middle class to wealthy and filled with white liberal angst. In short, where these people reside is NIMBY territory.
I would love for these illegal aliens to be dumped right in these neighborhoods.

Heh, it reminded me of the woodchuck problem I have had over the years, I finally decided to take the situation in hand and brought some traps. I am not allowed in my state to relocate them, but I view that as a “suggestion”...:)
I had six of them I captured, and I have heard you have to take them a minimum of five miles away, so I began driving them up the road, and five miles away...there was a community gardening thingie run by local Lefties, so...I decided to release them into a nice, wooded area with a plentiful food source nearby!
The problem here is talk, and not action. They should’ve just done it. There’s no excuse for not dumping these illegals into San Francisco, and other sanctuaries. Why should they be simply dumping them into El Paso and Phoenix in Dallas etc. Of course, the better response would be to simply dump them or their carcasses back across the border.
One more thing to get them on record. Nice.

Bad idea, in general. That's what Obama did with his "welcoming communities" EO.
But, in a specific test case, it would be brilliant. If you found the absolute worst sanctuary city, in the sense of ICE non-cooperation, benefits to illegals, etc., and said that as a "test case for integration into America" you were preferentially sending illegals there to wait for their court date, it would set up a very amusing situation. "Fill 'er up!"
Wait a minute.
Should not these sanctuary cities consider it a signal blessing to have these illegals transported to their districts so they can luxuriate in their presence? Should not Nancy Pelosi and all her democrats insist on positioning them next door so they can prove their good faith?
Isn’t it racism for the Trump administration to NOT send them their voters?
