White House officials have tried to pressure U.S. immigration authorities to release detainees onto the streets of "sanctuary cities" to retaliate against President Donald Trump's political adversaries, according to Department of Homeland Security officials and email messages reviewed by The Washington Post.
Trump administration officials have proposed transporting detained immigrants to sanctuary cities at least twice in the past six months - once in November, as a migrant caravan approached the U.S. southern border, and again in February, amid a standoff with Democrats over funding for Trump's border wall.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's district in San Francisco was among those the White House wanted to target, according to DHS officials. The administration also considered releasing detainees in other Democratic strongholds.

I’ve been advocating this for months. Bus them all to Silicon Valley, San Francisco, Marin, Sonoma, and Napa Counties, Chicago, K Street in DC, Austin TX, and just for grins Martha’s Vineyard. (Yes I know you have to take a ferry to MV.)

Have the driver say “mucho trabajos aqui” and then go pick up another load. Drop them off in Springfield IL right in front of the Governors mansion. Then head to Chicago and drop them right in front of City Hall.
Repeat until these “sanctuaries” scream Uncle.

Obama did this for his entire eight years. It helped turn many areas from solid republican to democrat. When done in conjunction with a census and counting illegals where they are you get smaller and more heavily democrat districts in and around the cities. It also adds electoral votes to these same areas taking them away from areas that are more favorable to republicans like what has happened in NY

So the ICE legal department rejected the idea and rebuffed the Administration? Isn’t ICE part of the Administration or is this another case of the resistance with parts of Agencies in secession? This sounds like the distribution of the invaders would be to anywhere but sanctuary cities - bizarro world.
I am betting this is the reason for the shake up with homeland. I think policy should be to release only in sanctuary cities. I also think that states should be allowed to retain illegals found in there states. I also think all children under 12 taken over the border illegally should be treated as trafficking victims. taken away from what ever adult they are traveling with and held till a hearing can be held to decide there fate. I also think the adult that is with the child should be charged with a felony child endangerment and not be allowed to have the child back unless they are the parent and they receive them back in there home country.

Actually. one of the best ideas I’ve heard is to make sure they are all released into purple states and count them in the census. Might be a sure fire way to get back red status when they have to give us more Republican reps.
