Washington (CNN)A federal grand jury on Thursday indicted Greg Craig, a prominent Democratic attorney who worked for two presidents, charging him with false statements and concealing material information in connection with work he performed for Ukraine. An indictment in the case against Craig, which originated in special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation, has been expected for several weeks, with Craig's own lawyers saying Wednesday they anticipated such an outcome. Craig, 74, is the highest-profile Democrat to be indicted in a matter stemming from Mueller's work, which resulted in charges against numerous Republicans connected to President Donald Trump. The case is being handled by the US Attorney's office for the District of Columbia in connection with the Justice Department's national security division. The case is likely to bring renewed attention to the Justice Department's application of a once-obscure law applying to unregistered foreign agents.

Did you see Barr the other day when Crist asked him about consulting with Mueller on his response letter to the report, and Barr said no. Crist seemed puzzled and said he was evading the answer, and Barr said something like “Why should I? It’s my letter.”
They know he isn’t going to recuse himself, and this worries them.

I always admired him, but later I began to realize he wasn't as good a President as he thought he was, aside from Watergate.

I am in such a good mood today about this, I live in a blue state, and on my way home, at the busiest intersection (two four lane roads meet where there are about 12 traffic lights) and there was a solitary guy out there with a sign.
Remember, I am in a blue state!
So I used to get a chance to occasionally do the Free Republic counter-protests outside Walter Reed in Washington, so I really miss this. Anyway, this guy had a sign that said “Support our Troops” so I gave a honk and a thumbs up, the guy saw me and switched his sign so I saw that other side, and it said something like “GET OVER IT! TRUMP WON FAIR AND SQUARE!” and I could hear some lefty yelling at him from a car ahead of me, and the guy just rubbed it in his face!
Love it. I love the sound of Leftist heads exploding with rage! It sounds like...Victory!

All things considered, we have good reasons to feel that way.

They can’t stand it! I watched nearly that whole thing, and their sanctimonious posing made me want to puke.
They do things like put words in his mouth, then when he corrects them to say he didn’t say that, they cut him off.
Or they inform him that, “due to limited time”, they are going to ask him a question, and specify to him that he can only answer with a “Yes” or a “No”, after which they ask a completely loaded question phrased in such a way that no matter how he answers it, Yes or No, it makes him look bad or makes him look like he supports something he doesn’t.
Nice to see he ignores these “requests”.

You actually think Watergate was some Leftist fantasy? It was Nixon’s overreacting to a seemingly relatively minor incident (but tied to a lot of big shots in his administration). What Nixon did turned the snowball of the Watergate incident into an avalanche. Sure the Left loved every minute of it. But Nixon basically hung himself and later finally admitted it.
As I said, Nixon, who I think was basically a decent man, was fatally flawed - he loved government and loved power.
