Very hard to sympathize.
It’s one thing to publish stuff, in the principle of free speech, that people send to you. You can claim your being like the NYT or whoever, even if you are publishing sensitive information or secrets. However, if you are (allegedly) conspiring to hack, you have to know you could end up in the deep water

No one changed their vote because of the Podesta emails. Conservatives knew she was corrupt and the emails just verified everything. Liberals knew she was corrupt and still voted for her despite the verification. I was not surprised by one thing revealed by wikileaks.
This is better for Assange than anything that would happen in England or Europe. When Assange is safely in the States I would suspect his “safety switch/kill switch” would be triggered. Pres. Trump, if Assange cooperates with the Government please put him in witness protection and grant him a PARDON!

They didn’t charge him for Hillary emails because Rosenzweig announced the leak was from a Russian front called “DC leaks”!!

As helpful as Wikileaks have been at times, leaks have also been very damaging to the USA. Assange is no innocent patriot.

Obama’s team put forward no charges at all against Assange until after Clinton lost the election. Timing is pretty suspicious ain’t it?
