On Wednesday night Corey Lewandowski dropped a bomb on Lou Dobbs Tonight. Lewandowski said he spoke with the president and Trump believes Obama authorized the spying.

"Corey Lewandowski: We asked the president about this some time ago. And he said it very clearly. He believes it went all the way to the top of the previous administration. This didn’t stop at Ben Rhodes or some low level underling. Barack Obama knew about this. He authorized it. He was either complicit or implicit on it. And there has to be accountability."

Have always been amazed at the "mainstream media's" lack of curiosity on this issue -- how could they NOT know that as president, Trump gets access to all of this information and was probably briefed about this from the outset? Of course, the answer is they did know and were in on the scandal.

The White House is asking Congress to dig deeper into whether communications of Trump associates were improperly picked up and disseminated during Obama's surveillance operations.

This is after an ex-Obama administration official, Evelyn Farkas, blabbed on broadcast TV, her former colleagues tried to gather such material.

Trump's White House Counsel Don McGahn specifically cited Evelyn Farkas’ teleised comments in a letter to the leaders of the House Intelligence Committee.

McGahn invited lawmakers to view documents that apparently show surveillance of Trump associates during the transition.
