That’s interesting. Last night’s CBS Evening News was careful to add the phrase (without any proof) as well. Rush has a clip where several reporters are using the exact same language likes “adds gravitas” in reference to Cheney/Bush. I wonder if we’re seeing the same thing here.

This, along with Blumenthal's demand that Barr retract his statement, misses a central point: Barr said that it is HIS BELIEF that spying took place. One does not have to have 'proof' to form an opinion, nor should he be forced to retract a statement of that opinion. It's simply what he believes. He may be right and he may be wrong.

This just astounds me. We’ve had to listen to them say POTUS was a traitor (without any proof) for over two years now. Mueller’s report says there isn’t proof. They are STILL accusing POTUS to this day (without any proof) of being a traitor. And they MELT DOWN when Barr says “spying took place.” Unbelievable.
