In the southeasternmost pocket of the US state of New Mexico, with El Paso, Texas, to the east and Mexico a stone's throw south, there is a small camp: a few tents and a weathered trailer.
It is home to the half dozen or so members of the United Constitutional Patriots (UCP) -- a small but well-armed militia dipping their toes into the US border vigilante movement.(snip)

Thanks for the video references.
If we had about 10 thousand militiamen on the Southern Border, IMHO it would force the Donks in the House to act on immigration legislation.
100%
If these Guy’s are on Private Property (A Ranch) there shouldn’t be any BS from the .gov.
Most of the Ranches along the Border have been passed down from Generation to Generation...
Castle Doctrine?
If in Texas- YES !!!
Not sure in NM.
It is frowned upon because they get in the way of the Border Patrol and have no legal right to detain anyone. We have enough to worry about on the border and the last thing agents want to deal with are armed milita groups. We have to check sensors so every time the unintentionally trip one an agent has to waste time checking it.
Plus at night on camera all that we can see is a body out in the middle of no where, we cant tell if it is an illegal or militia member so agents have to make contact. They may mean well but they are not helping.
can they make citizen’s arrests?
They get in the Way,,
.
Not when there is a
Shift Change.
I dont know, but I would not suggest detaining someone over an illegal entry. One could be setting themselves up for a lawsuit. There are a lot of groups out there that provide legal help for illegals and a person could be sued or even falsely accused of something.
I dont even know if the border patrol would agree to take someone into custody if a group tried to hand over people to us. There would be questions about where, when and how the alien in question crossed the border or even if they crossed or maybe were caught in mexico near the border since in many places there is no barrier to indicate that one crossed the border.
short od hundreds of miles of new wall, we need to top them from getting their feet in the country without killing them. I suggest 25,000 marines from Pendleton (of the 90,000 there now)using less than lethal force./
OF hundreds to STOP
Good for these men, protecting their country.
Quit doing donuts on those 4-wheelers. You're tearing up the farm/ranch roads.
You can't coordinate with these militias can you? why?
“What happened to the minutemen?”
One of the founders runs a little café in Tombstone, Arizona
Myself and 3 other Patriots were visiting Tombstone and stopped in the café for a meal
In a glass case by the register were some Minuteman hats.
We talked to the owner and she mentioned that it was she and a few (or maybe one) others are the ones that started the Minuteman movement.
I bought one of the hats and still have it.
Breakfast was delicious!
I say we be because I am a border patrol agent. For many reasons I cant ever imagine that the Border Patrol would ever coordinate with militias. I know some of them mean well and i understand their frustration, but militias on the border are not helping.
Practice the S.S.S. philosophy...
Deplorable racist rag-tags, out to take the law into their own hands, and lynch some poor little refugees./s
G-d speed. Hope this increases.
Wonder what their wives are saying.
I suggest 25,000 marines from Pendleton (of the 90,000 there now)using less than lethal force./>>>>>>>>>>>>
Brass knuckles, saps and Gatorade, with .45 cal side arms, just a few weeks of border wide bar fighting.
