House Democrats running a hearing on racism on social media was bound to be an embarrassing disaster. And that was before Rep. Ted Lieu, the most embarrassing House Dem not to be a CBC member, decided to run a gotcha routine on Candace Owens.
And before Rep. Nadler, trying to figure out how to monetize the post-Mueller landscape, decided to step in and defend him. That resulted in Nadler delivering a line that just begs for the Mark Twain treatment. "The witness may not refer to a member of the committee as stupid."

When it comes to ignorance the d’rats cannot be beat.
Candace Owens did not refer to a member of the committee as “stupid.” Nadler lied. Owens said that “It’s pretty apparent that Mr. Lieu believes that black people are stupid.”
That statement was correct from the obvious way Lieu treated Owens.
Lawyer. “Mr Chairman. I understand that the witness may not refer to a member of the Committee as “stupid”, is that correct?”
Nadler. “Yes, that is correct.”
Lawyer. “Is the witness not permitted to refer to any single member of the Committee as stupid, or to only one member of the Committee as stupid”?
Nadler. “Any member of the Committee as stupid.”
Lawyer. Let the record show that the witness is not permitted refer to any member of the Committee as “stupid, and therefore will no longer refer to any member of the Committee as stupid. “
“The Witness May Not Refer to a Member of the Committee as Stupid”
As you wish...asshole.
“She took an oath to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.”
A guy we know, asked the Judge if he had to tell the truth in a local trial.
The judge said, “You took and oath to do so!”
So the guy verbally took on the asst DA and Judge until the judge dismissed the case.
The truth always hurts a d’rat.
Can they be referred to as “We-Tod-Did”?
Whom the gods would destroy, they first make mad.
Oh, god, I hope those morons aren’t lawyers. Getting into an argument on the record about not calling someone stupid is a mistake a first year associate might make.
Candace Owens is the Wonder Woman of D.C.
She actually has the strength to make Nadler sweat blood. Or was that spaghetti sauce? No matter, he is her b!+(h now.
“The Witness May Not Refer to a Member of the Committee as Stupid”
Truth is not an allowable defense.
There aren’t any exceptions for Waters? I mean, who could be faulted for calling her stupid?
The best way to prep prior to going before congress would be spending some time trying to talk sense to bratty ADHD 5 year olds, with a little oppositional-defiant thrown in. Lieu and Nadler fit that profile perfectly.
She should have told Nadler. You misheard me. I would never insult stupid people by yoking them to an idiot (Rep. Lieu.)
Ha-I think THAT train left the station!!
In the meantime-I really resent their making me feel like some kind of sick voyeur with their 2 year long wet dream 9compliments of an equally sick and classless media)
I’m completely nauseated with all of them and I clean TUNE THEM OUT !!
I would have paid her 10,000 dollars on the spot if she would have asked “is lying dumbass ok?”.
These congressfools really should steer clear of regular Americans. They would get their asses handed to them rhetorically and occasionally forcefully.
They are way out of their league.
BOL.......ROTFLOL......priceless.
Candace Owens is truly a treasure.
Uh, Fidiots?
