Attorney General Bill Barr testified Wednesday that he believes "spying did occur" on the Trump campaign in 2016, as he vowed to review the conduct of the FBI's original Russia probe -- and the focus of a related internal review shifted to the role of a key FBI informant.

I haven’t watched the video of the testimony, but I’ll have to do that and watch what you pointed out.
What you wrote about him reminds me of the approach the Republicans took at the Blakey-Ford / Kavanaugh hearing when they brought in Rachel Mitchell, the experienced sex crimes prosecutor in Maricopa County, Arizona. She had that friendly, disarming, aw-shucks demeanor while she was skewering Blakey-Ford.
And “tick tock”.
Fox is getting as bad as the rest of the media. Barr did not say that spying definitively occurred as Fox is saying. He said that in his opinion, it occurred and he was looking in to it. I agree with Barr, I think it occurred too, but we don’t have definitive proof — yet. Fox is becoming just another unreliable “news” source.

They thought they’d win so the tracks aren’t well hidden. And even if they lost, they couldn’t imagine how Trump would handle things. They should be happy if they don’t hang.

I just watched that part. The guy is unflappable. To have those idiot Dem representatives yapping at you...I’d lose my cool.
There was another Dem asking if Barr would hide behind “Executive Privilege” to hold back parts of the report. Barr looked totally dumfounded and said “It’s up to the President if he wants to invoke Executive Privilege” with a look of “how stupid can you possibly be?”
The folks from the swamp knew it all along. The people Barr is testifying in front of knew it. They just didn’t want the public to know.

That has been my question. Every judge I know would be pissed off they got lied to over 4 times. Bench warrants should have started immediately.

Clear that Barr is “launching” an investigation (i.e., you don’t launch a ship that has already sailed).
Says he has not “put together a team.” Well, if Huber and Sessions did such a great job, why not just use their team?
