A Stanford University student who lied about her sailing credentials has been kicked out amid fallout from the college admission scandal, the school announced. The unnamed student, who is a female according to the schools student-run paper The Stanford Daily and was mentioned in federal court transcripts, lost all of the class credits shed earned and was recently expelled, the school said on their website. We determined that some of the material in the students application is false and, in accordance with our policies, have rescinded admission. Any credits earned have also been vacated. The student is no longer on Stanfords campus, the school wrote on its website on April 2. The student was one of three linked to hefty contributions made to the school through the Key Worldwide Foundationthe sham nonprofit used by William Rick Singer to pay off coaches and other university staff as part of his elaborate scam. The foundation made a $500,000 contribution to the schools sailing program on the students behalf on top of the fake sailing credentials Singer had added to her application. The other two applicants whose families made contributions to the school through the fraudulent foundation, totaling $270,000, never made it to campus because they didnt complete their applications, Stanford said. The expelled Stanford student was never on the schools sailing team but was expelled for submitting false information as part of an application.

Ouch.
I didn’t see the part about Sanford returning the $500K bribe it knowingly accepted.
On my read-through, I didn’t see what year she was. Ouch on losing credits... bigger ouch if she was more than a freshman.
Must have been tied to Democrats. If she or her parents were Republicans, it would have been mentioned in the lead paragraph.
Nor the part about the bribee getting fired and being in trouble with the law.
Academia sucks ass.
I wonder if they are going to go after alumni as well . . . .
Could be a bummer to have your degree stripped.
Expulsion for lying on her application is ok, but she should keep earned credits.
Fake sailing credentials? I have no idea what that even means.
That’s what consequences look like.. waiting to see it on hillary, obama and crew that have done worse.
Schools that gave Chicago's Kim Foxx a law degree and a college degree need to examine her apps in the same light.

Let’s hope they donate it to a good charity instead of returning it.
I think she has good grounds for a successful lawsuit. Not smart on Stanford's part. They are going to owe not only the credits, but a tidy sum of cash.
Credits earned are credits earned, regardless of lying on admission form. I feel the only legitimate reason for vacating credits would be proof of cheating, such as getting ahold of test answers before a test, or substituting a 'ringer' brainiac to take your tests and do your work for you.
Absent that, the school needs to grant those credits.
OK, so let’s now devote our attention to how Dorkbama the Muslim eunuch quota boy got into Columbia, since we know he’s incapable of uttering a complete sentence without something to read from.
Perhaps the word “quota” might be a clue.
Along with those hidden records of the little faker.
“Stanford allows undocumented DREAMers to matriculate,”
Stanford is my alma mater and the school makes sure these moochers dropout at a high rate. I know this for a fact. I have frat brothers who are in the admissions office. Stanford is a private university...not a public one and these pukes STILL (in case they get to 2nd year) have to eventually pay out minimum 20K by the time they hit 40.
Stanford is the top producer of start-up business dropouts AND grads and I doubt Jose who could barely speak English will be on that echelon...
Schools used to withhold the name of rape victims. Now we have Stanford withholding the names of a person whose actions “raped” other applicants.
That’s true of almost all the elite schools. The hard part is getting in!
I’m so confused - SO MERIT DOES MATTER???????
