That scenario isnt possible, unless you believe that 38 state legislatures would ratify any constitutionally destructive proposals put forth by the left in such a convention. As bad as things are, America hasn’t gone that far left.

That can't happen unless 38 state legislatures ratify those amendments.

There aren't 38 left-liberal state legislatures, so it's not going to happen.
