If a reader gets past the headline, and then the "very fine people" comment it becomes clear you are willing to be deceived.
When Trump talked about some 'very fine people' he was talking about people who don't believe in allowing mobs to destroy history by pulling down statues THEY object to...
Trump was NOT referring to Nazis or KKK members as 'fine people.
We didn't believe ISIS should have blown up the statues of Buddha either. And 'Mobs' taking down Civil War statues they don't like is offensive. That choice is up to the cities and states involved.
I'm sure Krugman knows the difference but he's an evil man who wants to paint all traditional Americans as racist.

As a glutton for punishment, I follow NBC News on Facebook. When they post Krugman stories, the responses are about 80-90% mockery of Krugman. It’s fun to watch.

they are repeating a lie, Trump did not not say the KKK or the white supremacists were “very fine people”. That video has been reviewed many times Trump did not make that statement.
